Can't you do something about Dungeon Finder's requirements?

I have no problems with the jump failed error because I can always go there somehow. I have no problems with the queue time because I never use dps characters anyway. But I'm so tired of finding groups with at least 2 people below level 30 EVERY time. I'm trying to farm for a Healer set, but every time I use the DF to start a White Gold Tower I always find low level players that don't even know how bosses work. Or am I the only one that has this problem?

The best solution is forming ones own group. A great many do this via guilds and even in open zone (usually the zones where we pick up pledges).

This solution has worked well for over 3 years.

Everyone is allowed to use Group Finder tool. If you have any problems with that then join guild like the guy above said.

This ask for say nWGT farm run, cp160+, guild works better as you can share, also agree to do multiple dungeons

The answer to what you are seeing is that the base game normal dungeons are capped by level and only unlock as characters reach certain levels (as I detail in that thread). However, the DLC dungeons are NOT level capped because ZOS believes that players should have access to the content they paid for.

So, that means that low level players have a limited pool from dungeons into which they can queue if they are trying to do random normal dungeons for the exp rewards. If they own the DLC, the DLC dungeons make up a large proportion of the dungeons that are available for them to queue into. It is not their fault - its simply the way that ZOS designed the groupfinder.

I've read many complaint threads about this from both perspectives: the experienced players dealing with groups of new low-level players in DLC dungeons and the new players wondering why they keep getting queued for DLC dungeons. I've also tanked for a low-level group that got WGT and had tanks and healers bail on them right and left. Personally, I enjoy the challenge of helping low-levels conquer hard dungeons, but then again, I'm rarely gear farming when I do that.

Solutions for you so that you can get your farming done:
1. Continue with the groupfinder queue, realizing that you will have low-level, possibly new players in your group. Embrace the role of the experienced player who's willing to work with them, relax, have fun, hope you get good gear.
2. Since you are farming for gear, team up with other cp160s from a guild, zone, or who also want to farm gear from nWGT and go farm gear.
3. If you really want to avoid low-level players, farm for gear on Veteran WGT. Enjoy the stellar quality of PUG groups in Veteran levels and realize that not all level 50+ players know the bosses either. At least the gear you get will be purple!

Honestly, if you want CP 160 gear, your best bet is to gather a farming group from friends, guild or zone, and go farm nWGT. You are guaranteed that the gear will be at the correct level, likely to get players who know the bosses or at least know what they are doing in general, and hopefully get runs done with a minimum of fuss.

Or just do Vet. Everyone there is at least level 50, so chances are higher to get 160cp people for appropriate gear level.

Why are you queueing for a NORMAL dungeon though if you want higher level people? That's literally like going to kids' swimming pool then being upset there're kids there.

They won't level cap them, because it's bad from a business perspective to sell something to someone they may not be able to use. That one is somewhere on the list of why b2p/f2p models are inferior.

Your trying to use the tool for a purpose other than it was intended. You will need to manually form your own group for farming runs.

This game sucks when it comes to lfg. Everything else is great. This is the ‘everyone gets a gold medal’ game.

I don't expect they'll level cap the DLC. I don't think that ZOS is off base to think that players should have access to the content they paid for.

The solutions I see bandied about boil down into 2 camps.
1. Let people opt out of the DLC dungeons until they are ready.
2. Rework the level caps so that it reflects actual dungeon difficulty, not the zone difficulty of pre-One Tamriel, thus increasing the number of dungeons low level players can actually queue for.
2b. Remove the level caps entirely. With One Tamriel, the mobs are all the same level, so its more about mechanics anyway outside some of the harder dungeons.

Option 1 sounds great. Who hasn't wanted to just do a quick daily dungeon and groaned when the random normal was CoAII or ICP? I know I'm guilty! The problem with that is that we can already do that, we just don't get the rewards of the daily RANDOM normal. The extra reward comes with the risk of getting a harder, longer dungeon.

Option 2 requires ZOS to change some old code (might be harder than we think) and make a judgement call on the difficulty of dungeons. Personally, I'd prefer to open all of the Story I dungeons at level 10, all of the single dungeons later, and the Story II dungeons later still, if we needed level caps at all. (Even that still puts level 10s with ESO+ at a 42% chance of DLC dungeons instead of a 50% chance currently. That chance decreases to 28% chance if you unlock all the single story dungeons as well.) Other people have may different ways to divide them up.

Option 2b again requires ZOS to change old code and spreads the low levels out over more dungeons, which I wouldn't mind. But I'm not the entire community. I like pugging with low levels for the challenge.

Honestly, I doubt it will change. ZOS' business model precludes using Option 1 like you said, and I agree. Option 2 requires a change in the groupfinder coding and I remember the last time(s) ZOS broke the groupfinder all too well
