What do you do with your guild?

I tried to make it a trader guild and it's just so hard and stressful (actually I only won bid once and that message lies in my inbox til this day as a momento )

So when you failed to do trading what are the small guild masters doing with their guild?

Social and learning guild for right now. A few of us work to tech others trials, rotations and builds. We run stuff a few times a week for now and the master plan is to eventually progress into a progression guild

I'm still trying to get my guild into the trading business (a tough job), meanwhile, it's a little corner for more social/casual spanish-speaking players, giving newer people the chance to learn and do more veteran content.

If you want to start a trading guild, you need to have a lot of personal gold (like 100 million+ if you want to get a decent trader). You'll need to win your first few bids with your own gold to attract people. If you're just inviting random folks to sell without a trader or on a crappy trader, you'll never build up wealth.

I sort of agree with this, guild trader prices have gone through the roof in the past months, even crappy traders out in the sticks routinely go for 500k now.

It's next to impossible for a small guild to keep a trader spot unless you have a good amount of gold to burn each week.

If you follow this, it leads back to a 'handful' of people, that have links to many trading guilds that regularly use alt guilds to bid on these spaces to monopolise the market, as in, sell these spots to make profit to lower guild masters, who in turn use it for a week but RARELY make as much gold as they paid for the spot, meaning the handful of people grow in gold but the average trading guild doesn't.

Was covered a while ago by people who got tired of this and most likely quit the game/guilds by now. The trader system has been broken forever.

#1 endgame pve, mostly veteran content.
#2 pure pvp.
#3 a good mix of everything. Pvp, pve, lotteries, very social and helpful, a lot of casual players. I also happen to be a guildmaster.
#4 fishing.
#5 my troll guild. Only in use for claiming keeps in Cyrodiil to *** of people

I might be misunderstanding this post but I think you are talking about your guild. So if you like the people keep it and set a goal for it. wither it be pvp or pve endgame content don't stress run it as a mellow chill guild and if it dies off you have extra bank storage then. lol
