How many of you face "random disconnects" while playing ESO ?

...only other times have been when some kidiots dos ZoS for their sick amusement...

Unless the server is wonky and needs a maintenance, I get maybe one a week. I'll reconnect and it has no problems after that. PC NA from Southern CA.

For a few weeks now constant disconnects have to restart ps repeatedly, husband on his console gets none. I play every day husband plays less frequently maybe this is a reason?

I disconnect frequently. I don't show signs of bad latency, and other times I do, but when testing my internet on my end, it doesn't drop and it maintains a steady 80mbps. I'm not really sure what could be causing it if it is on my end.

EDIT: I also don't disconnect from other MMOs and online games.

Anyone, at least for PC, that's getting disconnected daily, especially multiple times a day ok a regular basis will most likely find the issue closer to home and it could be due to a number of reasons.

Addons
PC not operation efficiently.
Bug within your ESO download.
Modem
More local internet issues.
Probably more reasons.

1-2 disconnects over 3-4 hours

I disconnect maybe once every five or six hours because my wifi signal drops out (I can't play with a lan cable right now) and I get sent back to the login screen but more often than that the game hard crashes to a blue screen and when that happens it has nothing to do with my internet connection and everything to do with bad coding in the game. Playing on PS4 Pro.

I am sure my PC is operating correctly
I uninstalled the game client, redownloaded and reinstalled it
I tried using a different router
No local internet issues found
No other games or software suffering any similar issues
Probably none of what you said.

okay, but frequent disconnects on a daily basis is not common.

Glad you are 100% positive it is nothing on your end and that you have not found any local internet issues. However, your last point is rather off by a bit if you are getting disconnected multiple times a day pretty much every day.

BTW. You didn't mention your addons were not part of the issue. Addons have the capability to cause the game client to crash.

Which brings up another point, if kicked to the login screen that's a disconnect from the server. If the game client crashes it's significantly less likely the connection to Zos but a local issue and a significant grated chance the issue is in the room you sit.

From login, a continual degradation of performance (fps/ping) over time until either zoning or reloading UI, which should be done every hour or two. Most noticeable in overland PvP as their is no zoning.

Typically my game disconnects not from an issue of itself but from my rented Comcast Router-Modem restarting itself for reasons I am not entirely sure of.

It's annoying, but I typically use it as a que to do something else for a little while. Stretch my legs, take the animals outside, etc.

Before the latest patch I had them occasionally. Now it's happening quite frequently. Specifically when I'm trying to fast travel. PS4 NA.

Sometimes it's every 15 minutes or more, sometimes I am fine for a a few hours. There is never a time, however, in which I go more than 3-4 hours without a disconnect at least once.

Never had a disconnect from PC though. Only Xbox.

I very rarely ever get disconnected from the server unless it's a mass disconnect. I did install an addon recently that caused my game to take me back to log on screen frequently, after uninstalling it all was good again.

Every time I get disconnected from the game, I turn around and see my cable modem resetting. Hasn't happened since I had the cable guys out to check my lines (they found some bad splitters in the equipment cabinet).

They pay their ISP for internet access
They pay Microsoft/Sony (Xbox Live, PlayStation Network) for network access.
They pay online game subscriptions.

Why??? Just cut out the middle man (and all the connection problems) and play PC. I only pay the following:
ISP
Game subscription.

If Xbox Live is down, I still get to play.
If PlayStation network is down, I still get to play.

Disconnects and infinite loading screens are key features in ESO, not problems.

This used to be a joke, but ESO is the only game I know of that has these issues so much, and Zeni obviously isn't going to fix it, so disconnects and loading screens pretty much are real features now.
