Why do we have to be level 10 to enter Cyrodiil?

    Thought he ment to spy the zone or group chats and give valuable information to your original alliance.

    Those are reasonable concerns, to be honest, and enough justification to keep the 10 limit from a practical perspective for preservation of product.

    At level 10 I had a much better understanding of how to play than at level 1.
    Then I hit level 15 with 2 bars to swap and it took me a few more levels to get that new scheme under control.

    I don't mind the restrictions. I see it as part of character progression.

    So you want to jump into cyro with 3 skills and 2 passives?

    As I said in my above post, if someone wants to get themselves killed at level 1, then let them.

    I'm all about choice when it doesn't fly in the face of greater concerns for the overall project.

    With that said, I just realized a probable good reason to still keep Cyrodiil locked until level 10--and keeping it this way, despite the way the game has evolved.

    It keeps opposing Alliance members from rolling up a random throw-away level 1 and using them for tactical advantage for a short time and deleting the character. Someone would have to be dedicated and level a cross faction character to level 10 and then let that eat one of their character slots.

    If you are planning on using the character to tactical advantage in Cyordiil, you're most likely a max level anyways, so you know the game well and getting to level ten is fairly easy.

    I understood that, but getting a new char to level 10 quick is fairly easy for an experienced player. No player new to the game makes up his mind to create a character only to spy on the other alliances in pvp when he barely knows how to exit Cyrodiil. Nor would he have that many to report to either.

    The level 10 barrier is there for very logical reasons. Zos chose that to be the level we can enter Cyrodiil.

    Heck. Probably slightly more logic in that than someone thinking they should be able to enter Cyrodiil at level 1, which would never be possible btw even if Zos removed the gate.

    Game must be doing pretty good if this is what you have to argue about.

    Probably due to scaling and how it works. Level 1-10 players might be OP as hell with the right gear.
    @Vrienda
    Nah. It's definitely not solely because of that.
    Level 10 requirement has always been there since launch, waay back before 1T and overall level scaling.

    @Smeaky-Snurr
    Yeah but it's probably why they didn't left the restriction in 1T

    Probably to stop newbies going in, same with dungeon finder etc. Many people boot up the game, skip the tutorial and expect others to accommodate them, at least by level 10 you hopefully can press the right buttons and have unlocked more than 3 abilities and have an ultimate.

    The Home / Visitor was suppose to be the answer to that as much as zos was willing to commit to it. Besides, cross faction characters are how Cyrodiil is played. It is virtually a freakn game dynamic. It is hardly a sin in this game. Why would you not make a cross character?

    And you can make a level 10 cross character and trash it just as well. But why throw away a perfectly good spy?

    Also, I cannot understand people who think Cyrodiil is challenging? I go in with my level 10 and not only survive but kill a crap ton of people. I could do it naked, with no skills and just a restro. I would use the old joke I could kill you people with a cordless but I doubt many are left that have even seen a rotary phone. Why do you think pvp is hard? Are you having flashbacks to WoW? Just stay with the group, if you get killed go back and get revenge, if their group is bigger than yours go elsewhere. My god it is not hard. It's about take over strategy not facing off one on one.
