Hodors world first completion of last patches new trial was almost all sorcs if not all Sorc . It is the go to class in the hardest content . That truth is not an indictment of Hor Hodor or any players using Sorc but a lazer beam pointed at the classes effectiveness over other classes in PVE and PVP .

And now they only run 2 or 3 sorcs. Kind of like they aren't OP anymore, or something. Since HotR dropped, sorcs are pretty much only there for the cleave and to provide lightning wall.

Msorcs are argueably the worst magicka class, if not the single worst class altogether on duels. Besides pet, frost ones of course.

If you honestly truly think that, then it’s just a L2p issue for you. Having played it and dueled some of the best mag sorcs it is clearly at/near the top of the dueling chain on normal builds, especially with mines. Next patch rune cage change may push them to being at the top with unblockable meteor curse frag execute combo. In no way do I think dueling means anything in terms of balance but to say mag sorc is weak at dueling is completely asinine.

Yeah... no that won't change anything in a 1v1. I can already disorient stun you at will to achieve an unblocked burst. The difference is in XvX where other people won't ruin the stun anymore... since it's almost free CC immunity against non shield builds atm.

I wouldn't say sorcs are bad at dueling, but any build that centers around heavy dot pressure + proc/ult burst will be a real problem for magsorcs.

It was because they sorcs were alittle to strong in homestead and most player still were used to them.

Right now every serious raid guild more or less stacks as many stam dds as possible(4stam dk+1 stam templer or something like that) since they have more dps and cleave in trials, they have the superior support sets to boost their dps even more and better sustain. Also since the buff to blade cloak i acutally think stam dds have now better survivability than mag dds. And the rest are just mag nb+sorcs for offbalance, destros and because you can't bring another meele dd.
