Master Writs drop rate change?

Has there been a change to Master writs, after 8 days and 9 writs turned in daily not one master writ received. Whats up with that?

I turn in 11 every day and have been getting more master writs than usual...hope the rng gods smile on you soon!

Its all RNG, and your on the short end of the Curve right now.

Also, as they have added the new motifs to the algorithm that determines if you get a Master Writ, it could be that has now become more of a factor if you have not learned the newest motifs.

For the record, I know all Motifs outside of the Morrowind ones, and 9/9 in traits, and have all the crafting achievements, my Master Writ return rate can be described as a drought, just like it always is. I think I got two this week.

Can't speak for everyone, but i pulled 5 in 6 days. (i only turn in Woodworking, Blacksmith, and clothing).

So 18 total chances and 5 generated, 27% drop last week.

I stopped doin writs after morrowind. I just started again last week and ive been averaging 6 master writs a day on 12 toons doin them a day.

It really is RNG.
At some times it seems great (dont go crazy and sell em for dirty cheap, youll regret it when you hit a super draught)

I didnt get any for a good 3-4 weeks of doing em every other day and finally got two last night for a total 75 vouchers. Thing is that isnt SO great. As 75 vouchers no longer go for 200k+

I also felt luck dropped after morrowind, I'm assuming its the whole %motif thing because i have none of the new ones. So it just brought my chance of them dropping down. This kinda seems wrong to me, a new dlc can give others more chances of getting them but should not have me regress...... oh well

rng all the way...you do need to look at the numbers over a longer period tho, OP, i'd think...i've gone 2-3 days turning in 17 master crafting writs daily, and getting no master writs, but then just yesterday on 1 char, i turned in 5 & got 3 master writs...you just never know...

TWO WEEKS for me, and I do 11 writs per day.

And yes, I know how the system works. I used to get them pretty frequently...1 every 2 days was about the average, during the driest times. I have about 8-9 unfinished ones in my pack, even now. Something is off.

I am still getting 3-5 sealed writs a day from my 8 crafters. I have even begun documenting daily how many sealed writs, surveys or gold mats are obtained daily.

I noticed mine did better after I began bringing traits known up (One has all nine for all items...the others know 5-8 for all items). Otherwise they pretty much know the basic motifs. I try to get a few other crafting achievements for them when I can. If I hold onto them for a week I typically have twenty some writs worth 300-600 vouchers. I don't like doing that because it takes a hit on the gold mats reserve.

My highest was just last week for 275 writ vouchers and was pretty easy- legendary, nirnhoned & Ebonheart Pact.

Must be RNG and I dread the possible day when it dries up.

Yeah I mean I did find about 200 BA pages since launch, maybe that's where my MW rng goes now lol

I had a long dry spell for a week or two and then got 200 writs in two days

The more crafting achievements, purple recipes, and motifs the more frequent the writ drop rate. My 9 trait master crafter who knows all but 3 motifs generally gets 1 master writ per day. Now, I didn't say they were all amazing; most are 6-7 voucher for equipment and 2-3 for consummables. I get a really good master writ (70+) like once every 2-3 weeks.

I've been doing them daily and get at least 1 per day. When they first came out, I didn't get one for 4-5 weeks straight.

Im guessing maybe the more style you've learnt the more chance you'll have.
I've learnt all styles, and it's dropping so many writs with high vouchers.

I've had all motifs and all 9 traits done since morrowind basically, and still haven't seen many on my main crafter, maybe about 2-3 ever since morrowind dropped 4 months ago

Have you put all skill points into each crafting skill? I only do writs on 1 character, and get multiple writs drop every 2 days.

I got a lot more b4 I started to collect the motif's, no I only need 15 more to have them all and I have not got one for more than 5 vouchers in over two months. I get wtf more in ench and alch than in BS, WW and Cloth
