Why should i pay you more money!

First off, if your going to make me pay $40 for some dlc for a free game that's fine. It better have good stuff in it. Well what we got was a ton of story and I'm good with that but we didn't get dungeons. Now they want us to give them more money for content that SHOULD have been in the $40 dlc???? WTF DUDE really?????? Is anybody else stupidly annoyed that they just want to take are money and give us the absolute least amount possible??

I was hoping that we would get some sandbox elements, something like blade of woe that was added for DB update. Its all about quest marker chasing for little to no reward, yea we got warden class and battlegrounds but meh, that could have easily been a separate free dlc.

Just curious how many people whining about a $40 expansion actually pay a monthly sub or contribute to the game in any way?

I am guessing not many, because if they did pay a sub they would have access to the upcoming Clockwork City DLC and all the others FREE with the sub benefits.

On top of the 1500 monthly crowns, craft bag, and other bonuses.

I just realized that I had no idea that Morrowind didn't have any 4-player dungeons in it. Heh, I wasn't even thinking about that when I bought it, lol.

1. ESO is not a free game. It's B2P
2. Morrowind brought us a large dungeon. The large dungeons are called trials.
3. It's was clearly stated what was part of the expansion/chapter and that you had to buy it separately. Those that bought it were informed unless they choose to not be. Those that done like the price can wait for a sale or not buy it at all. Choice is abundant.

This issue has been talked to death. Falls into the dead horse category at this time.

Edit: also, Zos mentioned when Morrowind was announced that dungeons of the 4 man variety would come in a DLC later in the year. Those have been added now.

I find it funny people complain about Morrowind being $40 when it was clearly 100% a weak cash grab that no one had a problem paying for and had access to all the information about what it contained prior.

Orsinium was so much better than Morrowind, and I got it for free with the gold edition. Morrowind was just a lable they used to sell a mediocre expansion.

As others have mentioned previously, sub or pay seperately or get out.

Many of us sub to the game, and have done for years, if you dont want to contribute to the game, with subbing, as you get the content anyway, or buying with crowns, that again you get a stipend every month if you actually subbed, then the door lies that way sir.

Well, you don't have to pay. A DLC means, that you CAN pay for it and play it's story/content, but you don't need them ingame. So if you don't have the money or don't want to get it, you can just play ESO without it.

On the other hand, you are able to buy it (and the content that was developed) and - in my opinion - it's nice, when you have ESO-Plus and can play every DLC every time. And the crowns you get from it, could you spend for a DLC for example, when you let your membership run out.

So ESO offers a lot for different kind of people. The only thing you have to pay for are: The base game and chapters.

Although I think that the price is very fair. There is a lot of work of a whole team in every DLC/chapter and I love to honor that with a bit money.

What I ment was free to play not free free. My bad for not specifying that. But still I would hope for a few dungeons at least if we do pay the $40. Why should you pay 40 bucks for an expansion? Because you're interested in the content it provides, otherwise no you shouldnt and you should just move along without it.

I want to go to the theater and watch a movie for 2 hours, why should I have to pay 15 bucks just to watch a movie?

I only do a sub a few times a year so I can build up my crafting mats when I need to, but I have no problem buying crowns when I need to so I can buy the DLC's that I want. Morrowind has been a great buy for me and I'm looking forward to the Clock City DLC when it comes out.

I had a big brain fart. I see what you mean now. Tired, hot and humid, AC not working. ARGH. I agree, it would be nice to have a bit more that was offered.
