Having close to 1000 cp points atm myself I have sometimes wondered will I ever get to actually use these cps. And as far as I know some of the most avid players have already about 3000 cp points. I came up of an idea of negative experience ambrosias.
Depending on cp amount these ambrosias either slows cp generation (< cp cap level), no cp generation (at cp cap level) or causes cp degeneration (> cp cap level). CP degeneration has exponential curve towards higher cp amounts. These rare ambrosias (some illegal) are meant for special occasions or just shred some cps in favor of your group members.
Blessings of meridia
+500% cp degeneration. No effect to cp generation at cp cap or below.
+10% cp generation for below cp cap level group members if you have above cap level cps.
Khajiit delight
+100% cp degeneration. -50% cp generation below cp cap. No cp generation at cp cap.
-5000 max magicka
+150wd
-Illegal substance. Causes bounty if witness sees u.
Daedric ambrosia
+100% cp degeneration. -50% cp generation below cp cap. No cp generation at cp cap.
-5000 max stamina
+150sd
-Illegal substance. Causes bounty if witness sees u.
Sheogorath's aged cheese
+250% cp degeneration. -125% cp generation below cp cap. No cp generation at cp cap.
+100% chance to drop motifs
-Causes drunk like personality
-Illegal substance. Causes bounty if witness sees u.
