    I'm glad this was clarified. I'm not going to have much time to play this weekend and I'd hate to choose to use it for say leveling a new character in Betnikh only to be told "Sorry, you only killed wolves and Bloodthorn cultists, those are classified as animals and opponents, not monsters".

    CROWN CRATES: It doesn't affect gameplay, it's not mandatory, it's cosmetic only. If it helps to support the game and ZOS, I support it! Say YES to crown crates.

    Call me ungrateful, if you will... but I actually do not want to get those awful skeleton mounts and pets clogging up my collections tab. I already got the mutt from Morrowind there which I'll never use.

    I'm considering not opening the free crates at all - not only because I'm against gambling with real money (which in the end is how you get crowns), but also because I really don't like not being able to choose what I get to keep, and what to discard.

    ... So, basically, all we need to do is kill one thing that is not a player, and we will get a free crate the next Wednesday? Seems legit.

    TL;DR If it:
    1. Isn't a player character.
    2. Can try to kill you:
    3. Can be killed by you.
    Then it counts.

    One. Per day. Per account.

    This is being made harder than it needs to be. Have your level 3 crafter go punch some aggressive wildlife to death.
    Just because you don't like the way something is doesn't necessarily make it wrong...

    Earn it.

    IRL'ing for a while for assorted reasons, in forum, and in game.
    I am neither warm, nor fuzzy...
    Probably has checkbox on Customer Service profile that say High Aggro, 99% immunity to BS

    I'm a PVE roleplayer concerned about my vampires stage 4 skin tone and keep getting load screens so I came here to distract people from major issues with a rant thread about my characters cosmetic appearance.

    So, the good Gina Bruno puts out a one liner here and bamm, there are bunches of insightful, agree and awesome and whatnot. Hey, Gina, you have groupies.. ha ha. It's all good..

    Anyways.. so, as a dude that mainly does PvE and basically hits the dailies, delves, world bosses, yadda, yadda, throughout PvE land, then there is really nothing different that I am doing during this event than any other day. This is seemingly what it is to me. So, what is with the rave, then, or is there even a rave about this? Seems like you all just giving away free crown crates again, similar to the previous free 3-day ESO plus for everybody thingamigicka. I mean, not that I am complaining or anything about free stuff, but this event is kind of lackluster.. don't ya think? Ehh, whatever. I'm just waiting on the Clockwork City for the 30 more CPs B). Crap, I really have to get moving, though. I haven't even touch Morrowind/Vv yet. Still been rampaging PvE land through world bosses and whatnot, chasing skyshards, lorebooks and skillpoints trying to level up 4 new toons. I may be done by the time of CC release.. but that will be 3 DLCs to catch up on.

    Oh.. by the way, tell your comrades to quit messing up PvE with all the damn nerfing and fix those damn squeaky combat mechanics been happening for awhile now; need some oiling and loving attention or something!

    what was kind of confusing a bit was the whole event begins on the 22nd - however, because of the global nature of the game, UTC is used as the start point...

    which turned out to mean for some the event actually began on the 21st and ends on the 23rd, not the 24th...i think??? :p
