An major difference between ESO and WOW, is that wow does it re-balancing then adding new item levels, think of it as increasing cp cap for weapons to 200 then add new sets and items for this level, everybody get buffed but some less than other. They bring in trait change, then nerf the biggest set of weapons that people actually wanted to change traits on.
How ironic of ZoS, what a waste of people's lives.
To think the amount of people that have done VMA for their PVP builds, the countless, wasted hours.
What a disrespectful change.
No offence man, but if you don't want game changes and evolution, don't play MMOS. As it's always part of the process. And if people wanted to waste their lives, time im vMA that's their problems, tons of threads have been around on the subjets of poor % drop rates etc.. here, and other forums.. and they still did it... so they got to deal with it... if they wanted to run 1 000 times, that'S their problems... i did it 87 times and got tired of it... if i ran it 87 times it's because i wanted to waste my time doing it, even though iV'e read about the drop rates. That's my opinion.

If your concern is over dueling well, they all got 'nerfed' then so whatever... unless your worry is not crushing people without them as hard anymore, in which case "hahaha, pfff, cry some more"
Why does no one seem the understand that it's the difficulty of the content that is required to get them. You had a real, tangible edge with those weapons. Now it's useless.

Probably because they've never gotten the BiS weapons or simply have never completed it
What?
Maelstrom staves are still BiS because of the powerful enchantment.
Maelstrom bows are still BiS because of the powerful enchantment.
Nothing's changed? You can enchant them now which is great.

VMA not worth grind,
Previously you can use with willpower/agility/IA and monster set.
ZOS is simply killig diversity!

Basically no point in using 90% of VMA weapons now considering asylum weapons.
The destruction staff induces concussion/chill/burning, making all VMA destros obsolete.

Guessing you've overlooked the potential OPness that is the VMA backbar and Asylum front bar? The VMA Staff enchant is still very powerful, even more reason to run it on infused on back.

Guess you over looked the fact that this is a topic about PVP, if you wanna run wall of elements in PVP gfu(LOL)
But as previously stated, only PVE players are defending this.
Asylum destro is looking good, so good I can't see it not being nerf'd before patch drops

Who uses a VMA staff in PVP? Any Inferno or lit staff infused with any other enchant was way better than the passive 189 damage?!
Heck what you want now is a Master Lit staff infused with prismatic glyph on it, hit any gimp sorc or NB vamp with it and they'll drop and be an easy kill.

Expansions is an hard reset as in expansion questing gear is better than the old raiding gear.
ESO don't to it this way, its not much gear progression, vMA is the most obvious one.
Else its pretty random if gear set is good or bad so with one class and build you use crafted and overland, with another you want trial sets.

Have you ever been in PVP? Do you know how the staves work? Kinda an assign question considering SOOOO many people use VMA staves in PVP, I'll just assume you've never been in PVP or are trolling.
You can equip poisons to VMA staves that cancel the enchant but not the 189 damage and you have a gold weapon damage glyph backbar that stacks with the 189.
It's amazing how many times people have had to explain how the staves work to PVE players in all the threads today.

This is ESO. There is no moving on. You can literally throw a seducer set on which is the first set I ever crafted and do all the end game content in the game. Gear progression in ESO is a dumpster fire.
There is moving on it's called Destiny 2. Join the wave, life is better when the game your playing has higher than 5 FPS.
Played ESO since first day of release 900+ CP, 500+ Maelstrom runs since it first dropped. Been playing MMOs since WoW first dropped, these balance changes are not good for the game. Long time players can tolerate and adapt to nerfs/buffs but when every 3 months your changing the complete fundamentals of the entire game it's not a good thing. Especially when your changing it to create skillless heavy attack rotations no one enjoys and on top of that show no signs what so ever of fixing or caring to fix trials on console. No one even running VHOF or VMOL on Xbox since release of HoTR it's just a complete lag fest. This is like the 10th time since I've been playing that content has literally been unplayable on console due to game performance and it's well documented across the console community.
Plus use some common sense why is crafted gear even remotely close to on par with VMA, master, trials, dungeon gear. What kind of incentive do you give for players to strive for hard to get gear. Only MMO I've ever played that literally crafted gear that is accessible to everyone is better than gear you need to run something 100+ times to get in the right trait.
Rant over, games dying quickly and many are truly tired of ZOS and the complete ineptitude of showing any signs at all of fixing this game.

If that's what you're basing your rant on you need to l2pvp. What a poor argument.
I'll take this as you're just salty you had to grind and grind and have no friends to run the new trial with and will be left out.

If you spent ages farming for a minor stat stick, that's on you.
