As much as I hate to turn down free stuff, this seems highly unfair.
Who is more loyal, the person who Subs to ESO+ for 3 months, or the person who has played ESO for 2 years and spent hundreds in the Crown Store but isn't an ESO+ member?
The original loyalty reward was done when everyone had to subscribe, and through a time when their were a huge amount of technical issues to put up with. With the introduction of B2P the playing field has changed, and loyalty rewards have lost their meaning.

Yes, but those Crowns which subscribers get might be only spend through Crown Store for things which actually everyone can get if they have enough Crowns. It's all about to reward people who subscribe or spend tons of Crown Points with something unique which won't be obtainable through store which is open to everyone.

Nonsense. Your "unique" rewards will similarly be available to everyone else who subscribe or spent a lot (enough) of crowns.

Yes they will, but they won't be available to all of the players. You don't think every single player in ESO is spending tons of Crowns or subscribing ESO+ for months, don't you?
These 5 free crown crates were a brilliant idea for loyalty rewards.
We could get 5 more for each month of subscription.

Perfect, now read your previous comment and this comment skipping what I said. You just proved my point yourself.
Not all players spend tons of crowns, so no - not every player will have everything that subscribers and players who do spend tons of crowns have. On the other hand subscribers and spenders can not only buy everything in the crown store, but also buy tons of crown crates and get all of that. That's their reward.
Absolutely no reason to reward someone who can and already does buy his own reward. That made sense when subscription was the only option. Doing it now defeats the purpose. They are already rewarded with the crafting bag, % bonuses, ability to dye costumes, crowns to buy more stuff.
Why would we want to give even more than that? Especially something others can't obtain when they already have some things others don't have?

Buy Crowns and you will get loyalty reward. This is how we roll now.
Should ZOS bring back loyality rewards for those who sub with ESO+ for months, years already and for those who buy and spend Crown Points in the in-game store? Any comments are welcome.

A Gift Certificate may not be the most personal or thoughtful gift in the world, but you always know you're not getting unwanted crap. Same idea.
