You can't walk to Craglorn from any other zone.

Am I missing something? Are the prior forum posts and ESO guides no longer relevant in recommending solo players stay away from there?
Actually Craglorn is arguably the best place in PVE to test out the strength of your character. Head to Belkarth to turn in your writs and then run away from the city in any direction. Within a minute you'll find a bunch of large mosquitos or scorpions in packs of 3 or 5 or so. If you can take them down at your level you're building a quality character. I first did this test at what used to be VR5 and it was a blast. You should be fine.
This, overland now is more like public dungeons a bit harder than regular overland but not much. They did weaken most stuff in Craglorn to make it more solo-friendly, so running about in the wild isn't a dangerous thing. If you don't want to do the quests there you don't have to, but travelling there to turn in writs is not a big deal.
Ahh, they don't make it exactly easy to get to Craglorn, that is for sure. There is at least one overland route to get there, I think from Bangkori, but not sure. Just know that there is one big main road through that zone and if you stay on it, you avoid the mobs.
Use the cart next to him for easy travel to Craglorn the first time - you are dropped off right by the wayshrine in Belkarth, once you have discovered the wayshrine you can just port to and fro in the usual way
Thanks. That's what happened in the end. Thanks to google first, helpful forum goers second. I was going crazy trying to find a way through Bangkorai to get there, and not liking some of what google was telling me.
It still grates me that my character that started in Vvardenfel had to leave the zone just for writs.
It grates me (no seriously) that characters start in Vvardenfell.
I feel like all should begin in their alliance area.
I can't explain why to be honest, but there it is.

But once there, you just head east. The pass connects with NW Craglorn. From there just follow the road to Belkarth in the SE.
@TheRealPotoroo You can get into Southern Bangkorai before doing the quest at the Pass by going through the Sunken Road.TheRealPotoroo wrote: »The pass to Craglorn is in Sth Bangkorai though, so it's not automatically accessible. ^This. It's like OP didn't even try going to Craglorn for this writ before coming to the forums.

LoL.
- How dare new players enter a group dungeon without having checked the internet first ?
- How dare new players check the internet before trying something ingame ?
Some guys are just never happy.
I think you have a crush on me, given how often you like to quote me in your forum posts.
OP needs to play the damn game, and not go online just to ask if he can take two steps forward safely.

@Axoinus Craglorn was overhauled for One Tamriel. Levelling and gameplay systems aside, the Craglorn overhaul was the primary PvE content focus of Update 12.With that said, Craglorn could use a post 1Tam overhaul. Not sure what that should look like.
