I know Hollywood hasn't done the gaming industry the best service, but a few friends and I last night were discussing if Hollywood did try to tackle Tamriel, what stories do you think would make for good flicks? Honestly I think if they hired the right talent they could make a decent few films, I mean theres some good lore to go off of. Personally I am slightly hesitant on the idea because well, for instance Ysgramor cried the ebony that his son forged into Wuuthrad using LIGHTNING. Now whether that's embellishment or not I understand there are certain things best left alone, and everyone interperets things differently so the way they portray it could potentially be great or awful.
All that aside, just a friendly poll. What stories would you like to see made into movies/Netflix series/Comics or other media. And if you guys have suggestions please add them. No need to put me to the sword >.>

look at what Wizards of the Coast has done to Dungeons and Dragons a few terrible movies and the developers currently seem to be more concerned with what celebrity is playing and how hard they can virtue signal and thought police than making quality products.
If that isn't enough to convince you, then there is the abominations that were created from Terry Brooks Shannara series as well as Terry Goodkinds Sword of truth novels.

the success of the projects is dependant on the entire team not just the director & actors (although their role is important),
the producers, the director of photography, the editor, the stunt team, the fight choreographers, the visual effects team i could go on but i wont

Never saw what was done to the Sword of Truth, but I saw Shannara (never read the books) and became an instant fan. Didn't think it was bad, and might actually convince me to go take a look at the books. Not all stuff turned into film is guaranteed to be awful. This could be a great direction to move in. People point to the horribly awry movies from the 80's, 90's and early 00's. That was a long time ago. CG, special effects, they are at a point that this movie can be well made now, to day.
That being said, i agree with what some people what posted, i would be disgusted if some agenda driven crew gets their mits on it and it ends up preaching to us... Last I want to see Ysgramor talking about he is really a she and we should get along with the elves...
There is so much lore and story that i do hope they get to movies soon. Start telling some of these stories as a box office mega movie...0 -
