yes, the lag has become worse with HOTR and zenni again does not seem to be doing anything about it,

Random lag spikes and laggy weapon swap is causing alot of deaths

I logged this problem under the 'bug' forum.
This would be the appropriate forum to include information about your environment.

See this post for the report that I logged that has been ignored by ZOS for several days. This problem has existed for several weeks.

If that's what you mean by 'backwards teleporting'.

Please enlighten us all, as to how you would determine that this is a problem related to the ISP in this case, for example? As far as I can tell, this is NOT something that a player can use the process of elimination to determine the underlying problem.

You have made it clear in several posts over the past few weeks that you 'have no problems' whatsoever. OK, I accept that. So, without experience with ESO problems, I fail to see how you could assist with any problems on that basis.

Please read my report from 8 September and then come back with some more relevant questions and/or a suggested solution. Otherwise your post does nothing other than become a distraction.

The whole point is that if an OP simply says he has a performance issue and doesn't give any context at all then nobody can help him because they have nothing to go on. I tend to try simply to get the ball rolling by asking a few basic points. In some cases recently it has enabled players to be directed to the threads detailing Australian network issues, while today we've had German network issues. I'm not saying every performance issue relates to such an issue, but that if people provide some basic context to their problem then we can at least move forward whereas if all we get is "I'm lagging, is anyone else" or "I can't log in" then frankly nobody can help at all and the player concerned really isn't helping himself by not giving the basic information that will get the ball rolling. Yes they're standard demands, because without such basics as platform and server it's hopeless trying to move it forward.

As for my not having any performance issues, as is the case with ESO, that doesn't mean I haven't picked up a few pointers in the 20 years I've been playing online games. You might consider the possibility that that is at least in part why I don't have performance issues.

Still, you clearly resent my trying to help others so with my apologies to them and best wishes for a speedy resolution I'll leave it to you.

my internet is fine and i get rubber banding every once in a while, ill be teleporting several times and just praying im not dead. always seems to happen in trials and vma at the worst times.
get your stuff together zos, if many people keep telling you to fix your stuff, i think thats a hint to step up. already have hella friends on destiny 2 and if tera does come out this year on console, only gonna get worse

This has happened to me in a Dungeon, its particularly annoying when other folk think you are just standing there doing sod all. The explanation I was given is that it happens after too many hours of playing...... make of that what you will..

United States Illinois Champaign under Chicago NA-PC Windows 10 Xfinity Comcast medium internet speed for over a year playing teso no issues like the ones lately no problem playing Blizzard's Overwatch updated Nvidia and Java Intel directx12 Geforce GTX970 etc etc etc

I don't want you to solve my problem I just want an idea if everyone else is lagging to see if it is server side. I can solve my problem myself. I'm only curious if this is a server issue for everyone. I know the game has problems. I've been here a year. And I already have a solution in mind. Just wanted to see if it was me or everyone before I make my final investment.

Thus the simple re.tard.ed "is it me or everyone?"

lol Windows XP, pretty sure they stopped making security updates for that OS 10 years ago

If someones stating they're experiencing NO issues and the game works great! They've clearly developed stockholm syndrome.

Everyone's experiencing issues since HOTR, I'm COnsole and from Chicago, not experiencing rubberbanding, but there are A LOT of desyncs everywhere. Rubberbanding is probably on your end.

I second that!
Using Windows XP now, is basically asking for identity theft and all sorts of other shenanigans.
Logging any issues while using XP in 2017 will be ruled out instantly imho.

I had crazy high ping this morning, like 1k-3k, PC NA. Rebooted my router and it helped for a bit, but I still crept into the 300-800 range consistently. I know it's not my connection as I'm at 220mb upload at 25ms ping.

Ever since Monday's patch I've been having ABYSMAL lag, both fps and latency. That cost me a lot of fights in the 2 hours I played since the patch. Good thing I don't pay for a sub anymore, I'd be paying for absolutely no reliable service.

Xbox Na has been laggier than usual but since I'm just solo questing/grinding xp it still very playable. No clue about the high lvl content or pvp zones ...

I experienced huge lag only twice on two separate occasions after HotR dropped and now the connection is not too bad though there are minor spikes occasionally.

Reset the internet, prayed to Jesus, watched Rick&Morty, fell asleep after eating a deep dish. I'm back it's running fine atm. Sorry to be so snappy but it is true if I ask "how is it running for you" I mean all of you every server every platform to get an idea of the big picture if there's a problem zos side. If there is still some event in the Imperial Sewers that might have produced the bottle neck on ZoS end for any platform. On my end I know how fix my junk. But you guys rock thx for the help. Windows 10 may have pooped out another update that slowed stuff down not sure.

5:30am got disconnected. But hay there was no rubberbanding this time. Just a plain d/c. That is a step up. I gotta go work soon.
