Who has time for more than ONE MMO?

Those things are grindfests...I play singleplayer games in my downtime, can pick those things up at any time and happily come back later, unlike an MMO where you take a small break and the whole damn server has left you rolling in the dust.

This. I play only 1 MMO and then I just play single player games. I barely have time to keep up with teso even though I play every day after work, I do not want to imagine what would it be to farm stuff in 2 MMOs D:

Depends of the hour. Normally, I play "Sleep" since maintenance is very early, sometimes I play "Work".

Yes sometimes traditional weapons are ineffective against these bosses.

You have to use a weapon called "words" to convince them. Imagine trying to convince Molag Bal to release your soul...

So true... I can see some just staring at the login screen and refreshing every minute to see if servers are up...

There are indeed other MMOs I play currently in addition to ESO. That way I avoid running out of content or burning out on any of them. However, that has nothing to do with maintenance downtime. That typically occurs during my morning and early afternoon when I am usually doing other things in my life - not that I'd feel compelled to play another game just because at that precise moment I couldn't play this one.

I play that old Sims 4D single-player. Came out just over 30 years ago and the graphics have only gotten blurrier over time -- reduction in subsampling I guess.

I'm usually asleep or at work (or going between the two with no time to play). But when I am at home and there's maintenance for ESO I usually play GW2 (since that hardly ever has down time).

But I do play a bunch of other games too, and of course I have other hobbies, so it really depends on what I feel like doing at the time.

And if anyone's wondering how I can play 2 MMOs whilst having a job and other hobbies the answer is I'm an extremely casual player. My highest level character in ESO isn't even level 50 and I've had the game for years, although that's partially because I have another 5 characters (not counting mules). I've played GW2 more but even so there's tons of stuff I haven't done yet, I haven't even completed all the dungeon paths. That's why I don't play MMOs which require a subscription. I like playing RPGs with other people around, but don't have enough time to put into it to justify the cost, especially when there's equally good alternatives.

I dabble in whole bunch of MMO's, including the ones in OP, however I don't have this "must play something during maintenance" thing and ESO doesn't take up all of my gaming time otherwise either... probably why I don't burn out on it. unscheduled extended maintenances do annoy me occasionally if/when they fall on a time I set aside specifically for ESO... but after that minor pang of annoyance is over with, I just play something on my single player backlog instead. still have a bunch of PS plus games I've been curious enough about to install, that I've yet to play.
    dirty worthless casual.
