teabagging doesnt necessarily always have to be taken with seriousness and offensiveness. Amoungst friends, it can be a point of much laughter. its all about context. If you are trying to punish, hurt, or otherwise humiliate/shame someone, then of course its wrong.

If you are doing it as a smirk, nudge nudge to your friend, and you know this person very well, enough to say, not be offended by something like that, then sure why not?

Why ask on the forums is my question. This is a case by case engagement that you yourself need to exercise your best judgement over.

with that being said, one time i was in a trial and had to call a wipe. that means "everyone just die to reset the encounter". Me being the tank, die first, and i had about half the raid run up to me and give me tea bags of love. it was quite funny and we all got a light hearted laugh out of it.

I tbag all the time. If a buddy of mine is dead in PvE from something avoidable like standing in the red, he's going to get some tbaggin.

It's how you let someone know that they're bad and they should feel bad, and it certainly applies to PvE too.

But I only tbag buddies in PvE. Tbagging Randoms is reserved for PvP. I personally like to reserve tbagging in PvP for when someone sends me a salt tell. That let's me know that they're nice and salty, and rubbed really raw. I don't responnd, but I know The next time I kill them I know they're ready for the tbag to be added for the mix. For extra flavor, make sure to let them simmer a bit on the /ignore list!

I've been known to drop a bag or two on the guys in my raid group if they die to something dumb. Just friendly ribbing. I've caught a couple of bags from them myself when I've died to World Shaper like a noob. lol

I've bagged a few world bosses that made me fight til my thumbs hurt...

it's not that easy to lay some smooth bags down (particularly on console)...

I'd be too self conscious to try to lay down my sorry bags in cyrodiil

They're all reserved for Spider(-like) bosses, for making my gaming experience miserable

My wife will teabag anyone in our group that dies, ESPECIALLY if that person is me Some of my usual teammates also cakes the bodies then teabags.

I got teabagged once during a normal dungeon run.

Some guildies and I were doing random normals on alts and one guy had to go so we used group finder for a new tank. We got a level 40-something guy who thought it was a good idea to pull an entire room of trash along with the fire-spamming miniboss.

I was on a character that I mostly use for crafting, and since I didn't have food on, had adequate but not optimized gear, and barely remembered which skills I had on my bars, I went down fairly often. (And then, hilariously, spent part of the trash pulls spamming Soul Trap to fill up some of the empty soul gems I had from doing enchanting writs so my guildies wouldn't have to keep rezzing me.)

Well after refusing to listen to the request to not pull huge mobs along with the boss, the guy made snarky comments about how the two CP600+ people (myself and I think the healer) couldn't carry a normal dungeon, and when we finally killed the boss after I had died yet again, the guy teabagged me before ditching group and wishing us luck finding another tank.

Meanwhile my guildies and I are laughing about the whole thing on Discord, just because we are legit noobing it up pretty hard but the guy seemed super salty that the big bad high levels weren't carrying him through the dungeon. We realized afterward that neither of us actually had our CP assigned on these characters (since this was shortly after they were reset). The replacement tank ended up being much more patient as well as a generally better tank, so we made it through the rest of the dungeon no problem.

For the record, I wasn't offended by the teabagging, I just thought it was really funny that he was taking this whole thing so seriously.

Umm, idk if you know what tbagging really is but said boss would have to be face up. That's like turning your teapot upside down and smacking the bottom of the pot... not all that effective.
