I've found 4 total, 3 of which were the shield motif. Opened probably close to 700 chests at this point.

I've just collected full Morag Tong and BOOOM, 3 new motifs to collect with MO and BA still left... damn, I will never get full motif collection. This carrot will be always in front of my face.

So few people wear crafted sets and those who do usually wear costumes so who really cares about motif pages? They've made the drop rates so low that it is far easier to accept that we'll never know all the motifs than to actually farm them.

It's rocky volcanic, so there will be rocky uneven terrain, fine. But barricading off the big volcano and all that space in the center just pushed the thematic uneven terrain into the usable ring around the edge, making mounted travel into a test of being on guard for the random pebbles that bring you to a halt.

It reminds me of shadowfen, with random knee deep water that kicks you out of the saddle and swamp tree roots.

Are quests supposed to increase your chances?

It kinda cheers me up to know I am not alone, and the RNG doesn't hate just me.

For sure completing the main quest is supposed to increase the chances, not sure if completing the zone helps more.

This is like the UGLIEST and most expensive motif in the game. Shouldn't come as a surprise in this warped reality we live in, really...

Update: I'm still at zero!

Aside from the motif achievements and HoF, I only have Sun-in-Shadow's quest/achievement left to do (and I'm stuck because of s bug).

I was 32 of 44 or 43 before Morrowind. Im now something like 33 of 50 something in regards to motifs learned. Morrowind kind of broke what little motivation I had left for chasing motifs. Some of these motifs are such a pain in the *** to grind out that I really see no point chasing them anymore. The satisfaction of learning every page just isnt there anymore. Especially when I know that by the time I learn one, at least 2 more have been added to the game.

Sure I can go out and buy some of them from Guild Traders and in some cases I have. But at least early on in the game. Gathering these pages myself was satisfying. But theres no breaks lest you want to get behind on that grind.
