I will vote for kick if someone dies (doesnt matter who is at fault)...The point being I will be extra cautious with non-templar/warden heals

I've had a healer leave during a non-vet pug, so I just took over healing with my stamblade. Really wasn't that bad

To be honest, I probably wouldn't even bother kicking if they weren't a decent healer for most of the normal dungeons.

Non-templar/warden healers can heal vet dungeons just fine too.

The only content you don't want them in is vet trials.

I would be extra dramatic and fall off of high places on purpose to see if their healing would feather my fall.

If they fail, I would go Gordon Ramsey , Simon Cowell, Ape, or HAM on their healings and feelings.

If you are using grouping tool, you should probably have a heal/shield on your bar.

Even for most vet dungeons it is not relevant their class. If a group is struggling with staying alive it is not necessarily the healers fault. Often cases it is not.

What I liked about ESO from the start is we all have the first responsibility to avoid the damage. Most deaths are due to ourselves, not the healer or tank. Ofc I am not talking about a bad tank or us sitting at half health for 5 minutes because the healer has not tried to heal us.

the non templar and warden healers usually cant heal well. all i saw them do is spam regeneration/mutagen and maybe a healing springs here and there. its fine for normal dungeons but when it comes to the hard vet dungeons, not enough healing is being sent so ppl die. i find it hilarious when i see mag dks or magblades trying to heal. sorcs are also meh too

would not put up with that in vet trials at all

I level all my mag builds via restro staff in non vet dungeons, gets me skill points and DPS into the dungeon faster. As long as your healing, this shouldn't even be a question.

I've ran with PUGs in vet dungeons where the healer was a NB, DK, or Sorc, and everything went fine.

It's the skill of the player behind the character that matters - not the class of their character. The class only influences some of the skills and passives that can be used.

Would not have mattered if it was Veteran either. Warden/Templar healers do not automatically make you a good healer, and yes its easier, as so many will probably say after, but they don't automatically qualify you as a good healer. Done plenty of vet dungeons with Sorcs or Nightblade healers, even done Trials with them, vet trials. People that would vote to kick in this scenario are really bad damage dealers or tanks, like really really really bad.

I took my level 32 magicka warden (healer) wearing all training gear into BC1 normal to get Undaunted started, decided to see what I could do and I killed the first keeper boss without a death. I quit after that because not wearing good gear means bad dps so it would take forever.

No reason whatsoever to kick a healer from a non vet dungeon, since you really don't even need a healer to begin with.

Some can. :) Many heal terribly and need to learn to DPS or play a tank.
Edited to add: I actually feel low grade annoyed when someone is all 'Ungh I can't DPS/myDPS sucks so I'll just heal.'

As for the Warden healer they have been clearing HM trials paired with a Templar. Not really an issue. Also, few of the top healers use mutagen or regen in vet trials. Healing springs, Combat Prayer and Energy Orb are the three most important heals in the game. Pre-Morrowind Energy Orb often topped heals received by many dps in vMoL HM.

Also, the OP is talking about dungeons via GF so trials is irrelevant. Any class can do great healing a 4 man dungeon. It is very irrelevant what class they are on when it is just a 4 man group. If the group is taking a lot of damage, in most dungeons, then they are doing something wrong - not the healer.

in normal dungeons 95% of the time you don't even need a healer except maybe in the dlc dungeons where it helps (falkreath hold is just annoying due to all the knock backs that can stun lock you)...and where you do, a potato can heal you

If you need to kick a healer because he is not the class you want him to be, youre the problem , not him :)

I have a templar healer but prefer to run dungeon PUGs with my Sorc healer. Higher burst heal and better resources. Hell, before the changes in resource costs I could spam twilight matriarch all day long with huge burst heals. You could even predict when somebody was gonna face plant into an insta-death and prevent it.
So OP, I flat out reject even the premise of your poll.

    I don't care.
    Even in vet dungeons.
One of the best healer I've ever ran with was a sorc.
Don't get me wrong, zero buffs from him, but his dps was crazy and all we really needed was the matriarch

I can carry literally any team through a Normal dungeon. I can complete all of them solo as well assuming a certain mechanic doesn't prohibit it.

Why would you kick someone from a Normal dungeon when they do nothing morally wrong? :/

The only person I would kick (and I have done this) is someone who queues for the wrong position purposely to jump ahead in group finder, such as a DPS queuing as a Tank, and they also show attitude toward the rest of the group. I can't stand people who do that. It takes a lot to get kicked from a Normal Dungeon.

Groupfinder implies that u have a very high chance that 3/3 other group members r bad and/or unexperienced players.
U r better of with a spec that can carry whatever u get.
