DK's Dragon Fire Scales don't reflect Warden's Cliff Racer?

At least for me, they are not reflecting this skill from Wardens.

Is this a bug? Or it's working as intended?

Dragon Fire Scales skill says that it reflects projectiles, and by reading "Projectile" in the English dictionary, I understand the Cliff Racer skill fits that definition of being a projectile.

projectile
n
1. an object or body thrown forwards
2. ...
3. ...
4. capable of being or designed to be hurled forwards

So, any insight on this?

Thank you.

Anything can be/act as a projectile.

    From the English dictionary:

    projectile
    n
    1. an object or body thrown forwards
    2. ...
    3. ...
    4. capable of being or designed to be hurled forwards

It's working as intended, it's not reflectable because the animation is so conspicuous and it would never land if it could be dodged or reflected.

What does your comment have to do with anything? Throw whatever you want IRL.

Throwing something is considered a projectile by language definition, DK scales skill says it reflects projectiles (kittens or whatever is acting as a projectile), however, scales are not reflecting that Warden skill, and anywhere it says Cliff Racer is not reflectable.

Wrobel said it wasn't supposed to be reflectable. They thought reflecting a bird would look stupid and because the animation is so slow and obvious they made the cliff racer unreflectable and undodgable. This was all on an ESO live. Continuing to define the word projectile will not change this.

Yeah it's a liiiittle ridiculous. It's just free damage at one of the longest ranges in the game right now. They want it undodgeable and unreflectable because of its long travel time, but that only matters for the first one, every racer past the first hits on GCD.

That skill is the only thing the Warden has going for it in PvP so I doubt it's going to be changed.

And according to some, the warden is underperforming compared to other classes DPS wise. So buffs are likely in the future. They just need to roll them out slowly to avoid people saying that it's a Pay to Win class.

Unlike, say, Dark Flare or Crystal Shards? Both reflectable and dodgable.

Whaaaaaaaaat are you talking about? 1vX PvP or group PvP? In group PvP Wardens are amazing. They have essential heals, fantastic ult, shalk, and defile. That PLUS birds has made them incredibly important in group PvP content.

Yeah, basically, ZoS said "We'll make 'beam effects' unreflectable. Oh, and we just designed this new class... that can use non-beam attacks... but we're going to use the excuse that, scientifically (in a world of dragons and magic) birds would look stupid being reflected... so... they'll go through the shield."

Yet... scientifically speaking.... a chain or a leap that can go 28 meters in one lateral direction cannot go 28 meters up or down. :/ Great logic.

Sure, but the warden isn't throwing/hurling the birds, he is summoning them. That makes them independent combatants, not projectiles.

Well, it would be kinda hilarious if a Beastmaster like the Warden got attacked by his own creatures.
You command your bird to attack a DK, he uses Dragon Scales and your bird is like "ooooh, those scales. Nope, not gonna sh*t on the dragonborn. I'm on his side now. Take that, a**hole!"
I guess you gotta tame them better.

Of course I do, being a DK, mostly in vMA to reflect ranged attacks (for example, stage 5) without using my stamina resources, to easily solo-take resources in Cyrodiil, to reflect Sorcerers ranged attacks, etc, you don't? ;)

Guard eclipse doesn't reflect just projectiles, it also reflects flame lash, burning embers, etc. which are not projectiles - basically almost all magical single-target attacks.

I should get reflected back on myself

As mentioned a few times already in this thread, it is undodgeable because ZOS (Wrobel directly said this on an ESO Live) the animation and travel time for the Cliff Racer is so long and obvious that if it was dodgeable it would never hit anybody.

Cliff racer is not the only thing warden has going for it in pvp. The healing ulti is currently one of the most op skills in pvp. And I say this as someone who pairs with a friend using the ulti. It's essentially a giant no kill zone. And ulti gensso fast. It can bring any match to a stand still just about. I love having it on my team but it's crazy strong. And cliff racer is absolutely deadly because it can become a last ditch effort dpammable abilty that has no counterplay. So you can burst your opponent down but all they have to do is spam that ability at you and plenty of times they're strong enough to kill you.
