to all the stam wardens out there

How many of yall are running bone pirate/hulking draugr? I'm beginning to wonder if its even necessary being that the warden has so many ways to boost and recover stam if were better off going with a damage set?
I'm still working on mine, hes lvl 47 and I'm piecing together how I feel comfortable playing him so I haven't equip bone pirate yet but even without it I don't seem to have problems sustaining. (I will likely be running a PVP spec if it matters)

There are a lot of builds online ... for example Fengrush has one. Use one of those or log in to PTS and sandbox with a Stam Warden template character and the free 5-piece sets.

Draugr Hulk is a medium armor set ... depending on your playstyle you may not find that's enough for defense in Cyrodiil.

I run bone pirate, 7th legion, 1 bloodspawn, 1 kena. Double sword and board. Will try 2 bloodspawn this weekend though. Think it might work a lot better. Shall and db burst is incredible when wrath and 7th legion proc.

Fury+ Shackle 1 Kra'agh is what my wife run but you could drop shackle for another damage set and run a 1 of stam regen monster set.

She also played with 5pc cowards on jewels+SnB back bar 5 fury body 2pc bloodspawn. The sustain is great and having major expedition and protection tied to sprint opens up your potion choice/a skill slot.

@Brrrofski I'm confident you'll get more benefit from bloodspawn than from 1BS 1 Kena. More trees and more DBoS plus added resists.

You don't need Bone Pirate as a Warden. That's way too much sustain imo.

My plan right now is to run SnB/Dual wield, same sets your using (7th legion/bone pirate/bloodspawn/chiudon cause I hate having to keep up ward/resolve) on paper it looks amazing and everything should go together, DoTs with burst from shalks, CC from invasion and gripping shards, also Ruffian passive grants 15% additional damage for attacking stunned, immobilized enemies, and warden passive will grant minor toughness upon heal which will proc from 7th legion, bloodthirst and blood craze, vigor ticks, healing ulti, imperial red diamond passive, and every time I cast an animal companion ability. should be lit.
my concerns are- snares, with the build I'm thinking of running theres no room on my bars for shuffle and taking away even a single skill to fit shuffle in doesn't seem do able.
other concern would be if I should even bother running bone pirate since the warden has 12% regen for slotting an animal companion, bull netch to restore stam, and some other passives I'm seeming to forget at the moment. I'm a big fan of 2h and have never run a flurry build in pvp so itll take some getting used to. also running dualwield means no proper execute but with all the buffs to damage and the increased damage unde 25% from dual wield I wonder if itll be noticeable.

I run 5pc Hunding's/5pc Red Mountain. Gonna be switching out Red Mountain for Blood Drinker for the extra DoT damage. (dual axes w/ twin blade & blunt passive, bees, and a few DW skills will get a nice buff.) I have zero sustain issues using Bull netch and enchanted growth for stam recovery.
