@ZOS_GinaBruno , Suport Ticket Number 170904-002719. Since I cannot name people in the forums I would like to request that something is done about this. Scamming is against the EULA and destroys game experience.
Please note I take everything i said in my report very seriously, and intend to do what i stated if this is not resolved.
Side note, Anyone else been a victim of last second removal of item from scamming? Post it here lets get this fixed and these people removed from the game.
How does this happen to people?

If someone tries to put the wrong item then you can look at their exact item and check the level/trait/etc. If they try to take an item out of the trade window or change the Gold amount offered then it cancels confirmation of the trade on both sides. I just don't get how this is happening to people. You have to be careful when you trade, that's all. There is no internal bug in the system that allows people to scam you besides you yourself not being watchful during a trade....
Anyway, sorry this happened to you OP. Hopefully things get resolved.

If it happens you can't stop/see it, it goes like:
- Both players have gold and items in window
- Gold scammer hits submit
- Victim hits submit
- Trade complete
- Scammer now has both item and gold
No you don't see them remove gold, its a glitch.

This, both submit their offer, this locks the trade screen, you can still inspect the items but not change.I hope you will succeed, they should care about scamming and the solution would be easy as it's been suggested in a multitude of threads by now, adding a final confirmation that locks for good the transaction, if one of the parts do not confirms the deal is off, window closed.
It's ridiculous this is not there already.

From another thread today on similar subject.PrayingSeraph wrote: »I got trade scammed out of a psijic ambrosia recipe a few days back. And to the OP it sucks that something like that happened to you. I was recently scammed and it is a disheartening experience.
Its been said before, COD is the only secure system to trade. Trading has been open to timing tricks from the off, and its rife in starter zones etc.
If they wont use COD, don't buy from them. Simple
Why is so hard to use mail? It's more safer than trading... You can request gold. If you don't want pay price, you can always send it back to seller. You can too check it's item right. Always when I sell my items, I mail them.

so you're saying it still shows the gold as being traded when the 'victim' hits submit?

Also even watch out for Cods with expensive items as well they can sit on the CoD for 3 days without buying it then gets mailed back to you and those 3 days will have less competition for there friends or themselves
