    First thing I saw after exiting the starting fort at Khenarthi's Roost was an player pulling an group of mudcrabs, found it too hard so he tried to run and got killed.

    Killed me too but that was because I was fighting three bandits so I used AoE who also hit some mudcrabs so I was overwhelmed.

    DUDE... I remember killing Molag Bol getting super excited to get to a new zone just to get OWNED by mudcrabs... LOL! I actually believe I shut the game off for the night after that!

    Pull that Hard Drive, put it an External Enclosure that takes 2.5" drives and get those pics (and other data back).

    Laptop failures are almost never related to the hard drive.
