Nice stuff! Anyone have any old shots of some of those 6 raid group Gaiscioch PVP groups from back in the day when you could have 200v200v200 lag free battles? It was very cool to see hundreds of people riding together lag free!

I have taken 1000s of screenshots. That was about 7 hard drives and 4 systems ago, though, and I never put em in the cloud.

I just remember being DC in closed beta and fighting all of EP, solo, with shield-bashing and vampirism (got it in the wild on my terribad hybrid redguard Rlotje right after the patch that introduced it). We had no idea wtf we were doing; eventually they got me down with synched ults. That shield bash was so OP it was the first thing I ever did /bug for.

I have pics on an old computer of the underwear dance parties on the ship in Vulkel Guard in the last 10 minutes before the server was turned off. It had my wife thinking it was a different game than it was.

Sweet!! @Valen_Byte and I were totally there, somewhere on the other side of that fountain! I remember how they said it would shut down in "x" minutes and iirc they let it stay on for another 20 min or so after we were supposed to be booted. So much fun, such great memories.

I only have a handful of shots from beta (and I don't think it was closed beta? I don't remember any more; open or closed I think I got it due to preordering the game). I tested with a Breton and was in love with the emotes. None of my pics are of crowd scenes or landscapes you can't still see today, they are more of my characters near interesting environment details (and just one of an amusing NPC chat text that is still in the Breton starter zone now afaik). So here's what'sherface Elizabeth (Elspeth?) Somethingorotheringham relaxing on a boat after a bit of palace infiltration disguised as a servant.

Pull that Hard Drive, put it an External Enclosure that takes 2.5" drives and get those pics (and other data back).

Laptop failures are almost never related to the hard drive.

I never figured out what was going on with Impossible chests. I assumed that chest difficulty scaled with your level, but, I've never had any confirmation.

This thread and all of the screen caps brings back memories. I still have tons of pictures from the few beta's I was in. Back when you couldn't dye your armor and there weren't as many styles to craft. Lol, the killer mudcrabs...such good times.

This brings back memories of grinding out VR3-VR6 as there wasnt enough XP in the game to get there via quests. Maybe VR4 if you had mara, I mean there were no xp pots, or sub xp bonus's and what did we have like 4-6K health?

Then craglorn dropped and we grinded and they nerfed the XP, LOL.

That would never fly today could you imagine the forums if they pulled that now?

I did not grab a screen, but I saw a stream of a couple hundred blueberries running towards an EP keep during the last beta weekend. If Cyrodiil back then was like Cyrodiil today, I wouldn't even be here. It was seeing that stream of players running past me that closed the sale for me on the game. I don't even PVP anymore in this game.

This is what I remember! A big ol long line of us, all on our Imperial white mounts, all rearing up at the same time. The AOE's and siege shields were amazing!
