Poison injection in not working right on console it's suppose to deal more damage the lower your targets health gets since it is an execute but currently isn't someone reported it being broken before the hotr update was released on console and they even came up with a fix for it before the update was made live on consoles but didn't include it so now poison injection will likely remain broken for awhile on ps4 and xbox1 it was working before the update this week but It's currently broken i use to get 10k-15k ticks on npcs when they was in execute range now it does 1k-2k when they are in execute range lol
Is the issue under discussion that it calculates bonus execute damage at time of impact and dot execute damage does not increase as targets health drops? Cause that's fixed on PC and has made PI super powerful. From what I can tell, it's now like a ground-targeted dot and so calculates damage off your current bar, not just the bow bar. Consoles just have to wait a bit for that patch.
