Load Time on Mac two to three minutes
When I launch the game I'm prompted for my username and password. After entering it I'm in a wait screen for 2 to 3 minutes before I'm given the character select screen. Is that normal? It does eventually finish, but its really slow. I have an SSD and plenty of RAM. I'm not sure what's happening here.

Delegator✭✭✭It takes even longer if you decide to switch to another desktop while it loads. If the loading screen isn't in the foreground, you could switch back 10 minutes later and it won't have completed.
I have taken to just logging out and not quitting the game when possible. It is much faster to login again if it has already loaded, compared to the first time upon game startup.0 -

✭✭The game needs to compile the shaders every time it launches. Details on this can be found in my 64-bit Mac client FAQ (link in sig below).
Anyone who's still on OS X 10.9 Mavericks should upgrade for twice the compile speed.
