Maintenance for the week of January 12:
• [COMPLETE] ESO Store and Account System for maintenance – January 13, 9:00AM EST (14:00 UTC) - 12:00PM EST (17:00 UTC)
• ESO Store and Account System for maintenance – January 14, 9:00AM EST (14:00 UTC) - 12:00PM EST (17:00 UTC)

Am I tripping, or have crown prices gone up after the sale?

Also? Could we not consider having sales at pay periods, not the week before?

At the end of the month, spare money goes to 'other things' unless either of us want anything, and that latest sale was SO LATE in the month - especially with School Clothes/Supplies incoming etc., that I spent £45 less than I would have were it a week later.

The PC prices have certainly gone up since crowns were first launched but whether that's all happened now or not I don't know. I noted a long time ago that 5,500 crowns cost £23.99 and today they're showing as £29.99. I wasn't going to get any last week but I'm glad I did in the end!

While I understand your concern over timing of sales, different people get paid at different times so it's difficult to see in a global game how they could keep everyone happy, rather like server downtime which is always at someone's peak playing time.

    Yeah 23.99 before the sale.

Errr, I'd say most salaried people get paid somewhere on the cusp of End/Beginning of the month.

Even if you were paid weekly it would still work for you.

Australians are watching carefully. The AU-US exchange rate is trending in our favor for overseas purchases. Crown prices should come down if things continue on their current trajectory.

No, the prices are the same as they were before, but they've added some mega-packs that weren't there before. Awesome!
.... please note that I checked on the American Steam site. The prices are exactly the same on there as they were before, but if they've raised the price in some other country, then I don't know about it. The U.S. prices are the same, though.

Same with Canadian prices, no increase but 2 new larger packs added. 14,000 crown pack is equivilent price to buy 5500+5500+3000. 21,000 crown pack though is a savings over the rest just like the 5500 is a savings over the lesser packs. Sucks to hear though they've jacked it up in other countries. Very unfair and shady and should NOT be happening.

What annoys me is that I was waiting like 3 months to discount on crowns and I missed that ...;/

It's probably a result of changes in exchange rates between currencies. At least that's what I would guess.

In Germany, the prices so far have stayed the same as well. Plus the additional two large packs. At least the prices on the German steam for crowns are the same.....

They put them up AND added to new massive packs. And didn't breathe a word to anyone.....

The crownstore sale was just smoke and mirrors before giving the UK customer base the middle finger :(

The big packs ok whatever- but the new prices with no notice was pretty shady.
