A lie? What else should I conclude when someone says it's not possible to do vAA with 8 stam? And undermining your statements? It's called a discussion. All you've been doing is bandwagoning on posts that agree with your reasoning that stamina is somehow balanced, while I'm just trying to advocate the facts.

You mentioned top board scores so I assume you mean doing Mage hm; do you have any videos of 6+ stam in that fight? I believe it's possible, I'm just curious what the arrangement looks like.0 -

You just position yourself in a + formation with the mage in the middle and 2 people on each 'arm' of the + if that makes any sense. As long as people stack in groups of 2 with a bit of room in between the chain lightning is fine. For HM you can stack the 6 stams in groups of 2 and have the last group of 2 be a healer and a tank if you don't have any more melees so that the atronarchs can be in cleave range.

This is not that difficult of a concept to grasp. It has also happened before. Back when raids where mostly 7-8 sorcs, I assure you, a stam DK could hit just as high with single target DPS, but NOBODY PLAYED THEM. The risk associated from bringing them to a raid was not justified as there was no extra reward for the presence.
Stamina has to pull more DPS than magic if you want balance, otherwise nobody would play stamina. The risk would outweigh the reward. We have already seen this occur, and most of us dont want to go back.

RIsk vs reward absolutely doesn't exist in PvE. Not in the slightest. "NOT F'ING DIE" becomes irrelevant when everybody learnt mechanics. And not in all fights ranged DPS have to do with less mechanics. In fact, they are the ones to switch to adds etc. when melee just do their rotation and avoid bad stuff on the ground. Who would play a stamblade? Whoever likes it more if they pull identical DPS AND IF it's possible to survive with it after some training. It wasn't the case before, because stamina builds didn't have survival tools, which is no longer true.
Put it this way. Long time ago you used to die in Fungal Grotto, and maybe your build died more than others. Then you learned mechanics and stopped dying. AND you pull more DPS than a ranged build who has easier time surviving. But what's the point of playing it if a stam build can survive, too? Sure, maybe he needs to roll dodge instead of using a damage shield, but still - he survives AND pulls more DPS in the end too. Then what was the point of having a safe build at all? vMA - people used to die a lot, and now some of them breath through with both stamina and magicka builds. And that virtual risk that is there does not matter. As long as it's possible to take a risk and not suffer consequences it will be learned and it will be reproduced, making the whole concept irrelevant, because all you need for scores is to do it ONCE. The concept only matters playing against other people where both sides can make mistakes. Playing against a machine you will just learn what's happening and just follow the algorithm. No chance of that machine to coming up with something new or provoking you to make a mistake.
And if you made a mistake once? Okay, just run it again. It is possible in principle that you won't, which means that if you want to run without dying - you will do that at some point.
