AoE DoTs Change Damage After Cast. Single Target DoTs Do Not. Is This Intended?

Things Like Volley, Caltrops, Wall of elements change their damage based on your current stats (Weapon/Spell). Bleeds such as Twin Slashes, Rend, and Cleave do not. Nor will other DoTs such as Soul Assault, and Flurry.

Is this intended?

    I am going to go on a limb here and say its cause of how its coded. Ground AoE DoTs have to do a check every time to see if it even it anything, when something does enter its area and the check comes back as true only then does it check for how much damage it will do, and it will take from current stats of the user. This is also why it changes to be the current bars trait if you swap bar after using the Ground AoE DoT. Now I don't know for a certain that this is true but it would make sense why there is a difference.

    Same thing as well Ground based AoE DoTs that are also Debuffs will always be overwriten by the same debuff from another source. A good example of this is minor lifesteal, blood altar is an AoE Minor lifesteal as long as the target is inside its AoE, what it does is it gives the target a 1s minor lifesteal and reapplies it every second while its in the area. Apply minor lifesteal to the same target inside of that AoE with Quick Siphon instead then it will always be overwritten by it cause its the one with the longer duration. Obviously this can be good or bad since minor lifesteal is one of the few debuffs that can be strengthened by a stat, Healing Done.

    Kinda what I figured, and would explain why Posion Injection no longer works with the vMA enchantment, since the Weapon Damage isn't 'saved' across every tick. Since they gave it the AoE type calculation to check for enemy HP.
