4th boss vHoF is an FPS check boss?

Seriously, I must admit I don't have two SLI latest gaming video cards, only single 1070 GTX (laptop) but 8-15 fps on average settings? Really?

I think this is the hardest part of this boss. I've spent about 3 hours with my guildies there two days ago and my eyes became dizzy. When I ported to Craglorn afterwards my FPS went back to 95 and I was looking at totally different game.

About time that place had to be optimized.

Nothing like Minecraft graphic settings and disabling most addons to improve dat FPS a bit.

Start with lowest then up graphics as you play, up graphics if the FPS is still good, keep it as is if it's already just enough.

I know people like derm buff trackers, but I recently got rid of FTC since it was just too much FPS loss (same issue, even tho to a lesser extent for other UI addons). Since you're on a laptop, you can give a shot to Action Duration Reminder if you use a custom UI and still want buff tracking that's actually readable ('cause ingame one is bad).

I wouldn't get my hopes up too much in terms of optimizing performance from Zos, so, gotta do with what we got (who knows, they might actually do it...).

I'd wish you were right. I tried selecting "Minimal" settings and disabling all addons and didn't even reach 25 fps. While it became difficult to distinguish bosses from refrigerator carton box.

Hardest FPS fight in the game. Pls don't nerf it.

I haven't tested in this fight specifically, but using Votan's Adaptive (Video-)Settings has helped me keep a workable FPS in most big fights.

Not sure if it helps with the ult spam though.

The problem is, that this game is generally CPU intensive and only utilizes one or two cores (or something like this). Even with the current top tier GPU you will still see low FPS, especially on that boss.

I have 30+ FPS in that fight with max settings. My PC certainly is good but not some NSA-datacenter either.
But there doesn't seem to be much logic to which systems can run it well, the only thing that I found out is that more complex systems, for example with multiple GPUs, don't seem to work well with ESO, since the game seems to not be optimized very well in those regards. It's more about having a simple but powerful system I guess.

The best video card on the market won't help you with fps in this game because it's CPU-bound. And since it only uses a single core, upgrading your CPU won't help much either.

If you're having horrible fps, so is everyone else. It's just a poorly optimised game.

Not true. I use speedfan to monitor system performance. When I'm gaming, ALL 4 of my cores are 80%+ Also, both my video cards are also working (SLI) as they both sit around 158F. I average about 20-25 fps in Craglorn and 15-20 in trials.

And that's with shadowplay running a looping 5min recording.
