this thread encapsulates the intelligence of this forum...hahaahahahaah
"The red pill and its opposite, the blue pill, are a popular cultural meme, a metaphor representing the choice between:

Knowledge, freedom, uncertainty and the brutal truths of reality (red pill)
Security, happiness, beauty, and the blissful ignorance of illusion (blue pill)"

Insight to Agree to Awesome Ratio = 1:6.04:2.76 as of 1/25/2019

Compared to people that I've ignored = I am 18% more insightful, 20% less agreeable, and 88% more awesome.

Assuming you mean dps, the gold gear would probably be around 2-5k dps max depending on class. The biggest difference would come from the weapon quality as it directly affects mag/spell damage, and the difference between purple and gold weapons is like 100+ damage.

You can generally leave armor at the purple quality as a decent compromise between min/max and gold cost.

This answer is correct and is probably the best answer you will receive. I doubt anyone tests the difference with gear quality since the tests would not provide actual useful information and min/maxing does mean maxing.

Purple gear with gold weapons is fine for most players.

Purple gear is only ok for casuals .

    @Rohamad_Ali

Most of the game is casuals. Only true progression and those who push scores and such really need fully gold gear. Most players play for plain ole fun. I hope I am not to casual to have an opinion like that.

difference between gold armor and purple armor is very slight compared to quality of weapons.

BiS is obviously all gold, but if you cant gold out your armor, you have no business with BiS gear

and who tests gold vs purple vs blue vs green? only one worth testing is purple vs gold

Depends on the set. I like to use the akaviri Dragongaurd Set and from blue to purple was all of 3 magicka regen and like 60 health. 2 of the set bonuses are the same regardless of quality. Yet people seem to buy up the cheap stuff and try to turn and list it for 25-45K for jewelry.

    Weapons must be gold.

They all have the same everything, skills, rotations, enchantments everything except tier of gear 1, has green, 1 has blue, 1 has purple, 1 has gold how much of a significant difference is there between them overall

    42

Actually its 42.7, but since ESO math... it rounds down to 42...

Important notes on just the color of gear:

*You don't really need to know specific metrics, other than keeping a few things in mind when comparing these hypothetical builds*

-If all Divines, you are looking at a decent upgrade on Mundus.
-If DD's, golded weapons is a SIGNIFICANT difference. 400 wpn power. Not to mention gold weapons is silly without gold glyphs, so add that to it. And if infused? You see where this is going.

DO. NOT. WIPE. (in game OR out!)

Difference between a purple weapon and a gold weapon can be significant. As for armor pieces, I never gold out just because I'm always switching my playstyle, but weapons I do to increase my damage what little I can haha but I definitely do feel the difference between purple and gold weapons

4% dps difference between purple and gold armor. 7% difference in purple and gold weapons. This was pre morrowind but should give you a basic idea.

    Should still hold true, though.

It works out to a roughly two level increase. So, a CR140 gold set will match a CR160 purple (I know this because I've got a full set of gold gear from pre-IC days).

That was one of the most insanely idiotic things anyone has ever heard. At no point in your disoriented question were you even close to what is considered a rational thought. May God have mercy on your soul.

No but seriously, what do you mean?
