Which stamina class has the highest survivability and damage ?

I am just curious to know which Stamina class has the best survivability and damage of all.
I am trying to determine a Stam class that is best suited for soloing high level PVE content (kinda pushing the barrier in PVE)

Probably Stam Sorc. Admittedly, I don't play PvE anymore but Surge + Hurricane give good self heals and damage is nice as well.

Stam NB

I'd say NB/DK/Warden are all pretty close.

Stam Sorc

Stamsorc is very good provided your not confined to a small space.

You lack an oh no button. But you should never need it, crit surge and the amount of dots you havehurricane endless hail etc means surge is proccing every second for a 3k+ heal combined with vigor makes for great hot.

The minor movement bufffrom hurricane means kiting is a doddle so if health gets a little low pop a couple of dots on mob and off you run. With bound armaments and passives as well you can sprint all day.

Others may be a bit better in survive ir dps but I dont think any can match a stamsorc for both.

In PvE all classes have the same survivability... So in PvE, NB and DK share the top spot in terms of damage.

Stam Templar

Even though it's clearly stamsorc, stamplars can pull good dps and have good survivability. They have repentance, rune focus, can use vigor, tankyness passives to go with it as well.

PvP: Neither has both. Stamplar has the strongest damage profile of possibly any class in the game, nothing can put out as much raw pressure as stamplar has excellent sustained and burst damage. Stamblade has better burst however and cc which is part and parcel to functional damage. Stam DK has the most raw survivability, although stam warden can face tank absurdly thanks to shimmering shield and trees. Stam sorc has a great combination of both damage and survivability but has the best of neither.

So yeah in summary, it's complicated. Going strictly by numbers though, stamplar offensively and stam DK defensively.

PvE: stam sorc hands down. Surge op, you can get flawless conqueror without any other heal.

Demonstrably false. With sorcs you get;

Major resists and minor expedition (to kite) from hurricane,
A great heal with a high chance to proc with surge,
Minor physical resist from bound armaments,
Burst heal that restores resources,

And slotting any of the above increases weapon damage.

Sorcs may not hit as much single target dmg as NBs or DKs, but it is because they are really well built to solo content. Seriously, what other stamina class can say "meh, I don't feel like slotting vigor or rally" and have 3-5k incoming heals each second anyway? (Class specific, all of them have access to bloodthirst, blood craze, and rend.)

So yeah OP, the short version is stam sorcs kick ass solo. Heck, even my bow build ends up feeling less squishy than my 2h NB.

And yes, this was all PVE. PvP is a different beast.
