Area of interest eye icon
What exactly makes these areas interesting?
I'm trying to figure out all the quests I've missed that give skill points, and referencing info online it seems that none of these eye icons harbor any major or skill point awarding quests so what makes them worthwhile to visit?

✭Some of them are semi important lore places. No quest or skill point attached. Just nice to have around you know?

Yes most is either an nice view or an historical landmark.I find that they are just a nice view most of the time.
Typical tourist destination.
And they are part of the exploring achievement.
They are also an skyshard / lore book hotspot if you don't use addons.Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.0 -

Dracofyre✭✭✭✭both, landmarks and use for "hidden treasure chests", they go as couples everywhere.
i think the Eye icon was meant for something "Hidden"
it could be other things such as hard to spot thieve troves, rare lores, and if i might be mistaken or need proof for accurate Master chests drops usaully get elite loots than standard local master chests if they are within that local landmarks.
maybe someone who had run thru for months so many times for those spots and can confirm0
