Sorry, but Wailing Prison takes all of about 10 minutes or less to complete... if you don't have time for that, then you most likely don't have time to get involved in a long-term MMO.

Wailing prison is no longer the tutorial if you have Morrowind. You can skip the Morrowind tutorial now if you've done it before but the Benefactor step is now just another step in the Molag Bal main quest

The new tutorial takes place in Vvardenfell (that's what you skipped).
I started a new character and skipped the slaver ship tutorial. At around level 6 I met the benefactor and got thrown into the Wailing Prison after a very enjoyable cut scene. That said, the prison was a cakewalk at level 6, I was out in under 10 minutes. And I took the time to look for better armor and weapons.
The 1st time I went through the Wailing Prison I had no idea what I was doing, took maybe 30 minutes to escape. I couldn't even pick the lock on that door, I ended up forcing it since I broke my only lockpick*. Yes, I had no idea I could find more!! I ended up on Bleakrock with nothing but the first sword you pickup from the first guard.
*I was under the impression that you had to push all the pins down to the bottom and get them to stay.
I have a 862 CP character who never left. Been in there for months. Longest tutorial ever.Blacksmoke wrote: »The prison LITERALLY takes 10 minutes at most big whoop
