Yes, because the number of accounts determines lag, not the people actually logged in. I'm pretty sure that its the people with multiple accounts causing all the lag.

Your probably right if all people are subbing for is double bank space and plan on playing for 6 months I could see how this could be worth it.

You could have 10 diff guild banks with 10 accounts. 5000 spaces, but non-bound items only. Still, good investment just for space.

So if one found it worth paying ten bucks to get a second account for moar alts, how would one go about buying the game a second time on Steam? Would that work with a single Steam account but two game accounts?

Steam sometimes has it's own problems so just be aware. It Steam login is down so is your connection to ESO. Also sometimes even though you can get into Steam the login to ESO will be down or troublesome. I know I have both a Steam and a regular account and sometimes I can get into the regular account I can't connect using steam and the login info is not given out by Steam so you can't use a regular client.

When it works it's fine but when not it's a pain to get tech support from Steam even harder than getting to ESO.

ESO for $10 is only for the base game.

I would set up 7 Steam Accounts, each with one game. Use a common e-mail with the numbers 1-7 at the end to keep it simple. I might actually do this. After all, only have to install the game once. Log in for each account, join guild, log out and go to next account. The initial setup would take a while, but then it's done and I have 500 inventory spaces. I could even go so far as to make 8 characters for each with 60 initial slots, giving 480 slots per account times 7. Wow, $70 and I'd never run out of space.

I was thinking something like this, if you have 10 accounts.

Create a guild with all your accounts and fill the bank, then remove all members except for yourself. Do this for 4 guilds on each account and leave 1 guild slot open on each account.

4 guilds x 10 accounts = 40 guilds x 500 slots for each guild = 20,000 temporary storage slots.

I'm sure my math is off

you would have a lot of storage but you will not be able to add to the guild bank after you kick all members. However, you could re-invite them when you need to fill the bank back up.

You realize you can go to starter zones, invite about 30 random low level new characters to your guild, most will join, a few will leave, and the remainder will more than likely stop playing in due time leaving you with a guild bank at no extra cost. Just saying. From my experience, more people leave this game than those who continue playing.

It is 9 cents cheaper to just buy direct from the ESO webstore. I set up 7 e-mails, then bought a copy for one. I didn't have to redownload the game, could just sign in. I found out that I might have to do the Wailing Prison for each new account apparently. I tried to send friend request from my main account, but it appears that both have to be online at the same time, so it will have to wait until I am at home on two computers. Maybe then I can leave the extras in the Wailing Prison and it will let me have them join the guild. I won't know until later tonight.

I have a trading guild and a trials guild I need to stay in, but this would actually work. Wow, 1500 guild bank spaces! Less than the 20,000 vamp_emily showed could be done, but this could remain active at all time.

Of course my suggestion was a little extreme but I dream of extra storage spots

I have 2 empty guilds I use for storage and I still run out of storage, I have ESO+ and I still run out of storage, and I have 4 ESO accounts and still run out of storage.

I think I need 20,000 extra storage spots.
