Would you use a Gifting option in ESO?

There have been many times that I wish I had the ability to gift crowns, crown items or even a one month subscription to another player in the game. It seems that it would be a good way to broaden the revenue stream. As I already subscribe, don't buy crown crates and find there are fewer and fewer items that I actually want from crown store, ZOS's revenue stream from me is limited. But if they allowed gifting, I'd probably spend more. What about you?

A subscription can be gifted. There are game cards though I think they are for 2 months of game time. They also aware 2 months of crows like a sub does. All one has to do is provide the other player the number on the card. I assume this is available on consoles like it is on PC.

You already can on PS4, in the UK at least.

Places like Amazon and Game sell crown pack vouchers, redeemable on the PSN Store. Hubby's bought me some before

I'd probably not use it myself. But as long as it is has something to prevent people from selling the gifts for gold I don't have any issues with it beeing added.

Really wish you didn't have to go through customer service to gift items from the crown store. Should be an option by now.

The subscription cards for PC are not available anymore and havent been for a long while.
I used to use them at launch because of the billing issues with credit cards the first 6 mo to year of the game.
I would also use subs as guild prizes, but for almost 2 years now, or since 1T, if you go to Amazon, you get this for PC/ESO Cards-
    "Currently unavailable.
We don't know when or if this item will be back in stock."

I would love a gifting option. But REALLY want to know why we can't get sub cards anymore.

Choose better friends if you feel this way about your friends.
If you bought through steam you can gift them as I did for my daughter. I would like to see it as an option in game though.

How could a random person guilt you into purchasing something?
I don't understand, if you are not communicating with them, how will they guilt you?
    Ignore works well too.

I dont really need this option, but I dont mind if they would add it.
As for gold sellers, they want rl money, not crowns. They cant sustain bots and other stuff on crowns. So I dont think it would be popular among them.

It's that Zos doesn't want crown store items being sold and traded in game as BoE.

There's an option for "could care less" but not one for "couldn't care less".
Even on the internet, clear communication is important; it can be the difference between "helping your Uncle Jack off a horse" and "helping your uncle jack off a horse"; the difference between "knowing your s***" and "knowing you're s***".

I'm in favour of a gifting option but wouldn't have a reason to use it personally in relation to other players, but might use it as a means of transferring crowns between my accounts which I suppose could be useful.

My wife has an ESO + membership but she doesn't really use crowns there is many times if we combined crowns it be easier to get something for her, or me.

Also the RNG god loves my wife. She gets the mounts she wants in Crates, and in real life i generally have her open my MTG cards, cause she always pulls the money cards.

If you go through Customer Support, you can gift items from the Crown Store to another player. You can't send them Crowns directly, but anything in the store should be fair game.

As for Game Cards, I have seen them in stores, but they are more than likely New Old Stock so it's hit or miss if the ones local to you have them.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

Impossible to make it gold seller proof. Would be nice but nah best leave it out of the game. Wanna buy someone something? Send em 20 bucks and tell them to buy it themselves.
