Put it this way. Say I am a tank. I am good at not dying because I have 50k health and almost nothing in 4 man content hits that hard, but I am not great at CC or managing my taunts. I dont die, but I consistently lose aggro and one of my DPS gets one shot by the boss 12 times and must be res'ed by the other players. Should I get an an achievement for that?
Short my answer: i dont care. I have all - 1 missing and thats vHoF. If they change this, it will not care me.^^
Well, at least in some case you can already get it: soloing Volenfell with my magblade I got the no-death achievement which I had never got before...
However, no: if it's a group activity, and if in your group there are more people, I think that no one of them should die in order to get that achievement.
Even with 3 flawless conquerer teammates, always one guy atleast dies at the second last boss in coh ii ...
2.5 years and i still don't have that fricking archivement...

Do it solo or with just two people. Not kidding. It becomes exponentially easier the less people there are and she doesn't hit that hard. Leave the others behind - somewhere in the middle of the room is the sweet spot where you still get credit AND loot but don't get pulled in.
That aside, common strat is assign a side to everyone - north-east-south-west and have people roll to their chosen sides so there's no overlapping. One person can also stay in the middle - if all others roll, they'll be fine.

I tried, but it seems that boss drains all braincells and luck out of the people.

Ay I did that just the other day, much easier to deal with the robots with only one person
