Description of this ability says: "While active, Hit with 5 light or heavy attacks to turn this ability into Assassin's Will".
Before HotR it worked fine with light and heavy attacks, but now this skill is completely broken:
- it procs after 3rd heavy attack with inferno and ice staves,
- it procs after 13th tick of heavy attack with resto staff,
- it procs after 17th tick of heavy attack with lighting staff ( so after 4 full heavy attacks and one tick from 5th heavy attack - 13 DoTs + 4 DD).
Medium and light attacks count as intended with any type of staff. It needs to be fixed asap because I'm losing Assassin's Will procs while heavy attacking with lighting staves.

Vrenk✭✭✭Bow still doesn't fire off if you loose sight of target but you've already fired it, been like this since I remeber still no fix, really annoying in pvp when half the time they are dodge rolled, blocked or deflected and then this.
The 'buff' last patch that nerfed the snare and made it 5 light attacks was a nerf to the skill is pretty much every situation apart from DPS test on a dummy *** zos, GJ at improving the buggy skill to make it even worse when ppl were asking to fix the original bugs

One full heavy attack with lighting staff contains 3 ticks of damage over time, and 1 direct damage tick in the end. (3+1=4)
Before the patch I needed to do 1 full heavy attack with lighting staff + 1 light attack to have one proc (4+1=5)
After patch I need to do 4 full heavy attacks + 1 light attack to have one proc. (16+1=17)
So you mean it this skill was broken before the HotR update, and now it's fixed...?

supaskrub✭✭✭✭✭Well not a lot of people mention this but after the Morrowind drop it was (and still is on console) able to be proc'ed on 1x heavy and 3x light or 2x heavy and 1x light, was it broken then as i never saw patch notes to say that you could combo light and heavy attacks (or if i did i took no notice). Maybe they tried to fix this for HoTR to be as the tooltip says 5x L/H attacks but borked it even more.Edited by supaskrub on August 21, 2017 11:19AM1 -

It doesn't count the last tick/final shock pulse from the lightning staff anymore, only the initial tick since the HotR patch.
I'm losing procs on my lightning staff bar and I'd like information on this as well.pc na | trash tier0 -

Hmm.. no. It was a pretty decent buff for PvE. I always keep track of it and always proc at least 2 arrows before I have to refresh the buff. Just takes a good rotation and good knowledge of mechanics (aka "skill"). In PvP... yeah you could call it a nerf, but its not exactly a nerf because you don't have to stop your pressure by rebuffing (this is especially for magblade, not so much for stamblade).@ Izaki #PCEU

I don't think it's true, maybe you're confused or forgot how it really worked? I am absolutely sure Merciless resolve didn't proc after 1 heavy attack + 1 light attack. And I've been using it for AoE instead of Sap Essence with dw for a while - started way before Morrowind. Somewhere last summer or fall. It never counted a full heavy attack as 3 attacks.0
