The whole Divines line of thought - and I know the devs have mentioned it - is a red herring, in my opinion. Who uses Divines to boost Atronach or Serpent? People mainly use it to boost Thief or Shadow. Divines will become in no way redundant, if Invigorating outperformed it for regen. I also see no one going full Invigorating, even if the value was much higher. There are too many good competing traits. Sturdy for tanks (regen does not help them), Impen for PvP, Divines for damage, Infused for larger shields, and so on.

I use divines to boost my atronach on my magNB tank........... especially since they took my sustain skill away. Btw #RevertSiphoningAttacks

    Erm... Healers?

Seriously though. Healers run Infused big pieces and Divines small ones to... yeah. Increase mag regen.

Well, at any rate, Divines is far too flexible to ever be under threat from Invigorating. The only trait I can think of, which might be, if you bump stam regen too high, is Well-Fitted.

A percent amp, based on your total regen, akin to (the fixed) Willow's Path, would be far more interesting. Say 0.5% at white level, up to 2.5% at legendary (gold) level.

When you are a Dunmer sorc with the right sets in pvp, you won't need impen because of your shields and your damage will already be high, but regen is what you probably end up lacking (especially with a 5-1-1, but who even runs that anymore?). I already used divine to buff my magicka regen.

they really should gone to a 7 trait system rather than wasting time trying to fix garbage.

What kind of idiot would waste their build on Prosperous? There are so many easy ways to earn gold in the game, it was always pointless and redundant.

@Ratzkifal unrelated to the prosperous replacement-- why is 5-1-1 unused? I'm trying to decide on that now, I have the opportunity to run 5-1-1 with the build I'm moving to, or to keep it 5-2-0 (5 heavy, 2 med, 0 light)
do most people agree the bonus from having 2 medium out weigh the bonuses of 2% additional resources from undaunted passive and the 1 piece light armor passives?

its a hard decision tbh, as stam dk I do use mag for my CC and Scale so having 3% additional mag. and mag recovery would be useful, but at the same time having 2 in medium armor will decrease stam cost, which is mostly everything I use aside from support skills and it also reduces dodge roll cost.

I'm undecided. I see the benefits and cons of each, 2% max resources is tempting. thatll increase ulti damage, and ill have 2% stam which may offset the increased costs a tad.

any help deciding would be appreciated.

From what gold farmers have told me, they only would use a set of armor with Prosperous when farming gold. So it's not a build, just a set for a specific task. I personally don't know how effective gold farming is compared to selling mats or other ways of making gold, but it was popular enough that I had to endure a lot of guildies complaining about not being able to use their gold farming sets anymore.

I'm just peeved that I golded a heavy Troll King Visage helm that had Prosperous because other players told me it was going to be replaced with something good. LOL @ me.
PC-NA since 2015. Tired and unimpressed.

@scipionumatia I'm not really an expert but after the heavy armor nerfs a while ago and with the CP and regen nerfs I remember people prefering 7 pieces medium/light over 5-1-1. For a full heavy build, 6-1-0 or 5-2-0 is probably still good if done smart.

77 Regen is not worth the opportunity cost.

Comparing it to divines regen stones is a fallacy, as most players use divines to boost damage mundus. Tanks do not as a rule want divines, and healers are far better off in full infused.

Invigorating is more of an investment than divines+atro/serp as it locks you out of getting the crit%/critdamgae%/WD% increase from divines. For that reason alone, Invigorating should outright outclass divines+regen stones. Until it does, it will be less useful than it was before. End of story.

The only way for me to consider invigorating over infused or divines would be to bump it up to 22-33 regen/piece (equaling 154-231 regen with full gold. Roughly equivilant to 1-1.5 jewlery enchants in exchange for ALL your armor traits). Anything less is simply put: worthless.
