So about the replacement for prosperous

If I saw correctly the replacement for prosperous has a flat value of 9 recovery for all 3 stats at purple level.
Is it just me or is that absolute garbage?
PC gamers? I'm a console peasant please inform :)

I have not messed with it yet . Not sure if it is cumulative or not . If it is cumulative then 9x7 is still pretty blah .

It actually is in line with the other traits. If you're running the Atronach mundus, then seven pieces of legendary armor with the Divines trait will give you an extra 125 magicka recovery (363 - 238 = 125) over what you would have gotten with just the mundus, while seven pieces legendary with Invigorating increases recovery of all three attributes by 77.
This creature called a songbird. What a devious creation! This winged nuisance erodes sanity with its incessant chirping. What a brilliant form of torture!

The way it seems to me (without using it I'm on Xbox) is that they couldn't raise the value too high because it would eclipse the gain of divines with recovery mundus.
So they had to keep it lower than what divines would give you for one stat because it effects all 3.
If your running 7 pieces, that's 63 recovery for stam mag and health. That seems super *** yeah?

Zos tried to revamp traits Yay.

Zos ignored feedback on trait like they usually ignore feedback given during a pts.

Trait made it to live as trash, trait will remain trash for a year or two before being looked at again and likely changed to trash.

    So nothings really changed.

@leepalmer95 I remember back when the game was first released there was a weapon trait that allowed you to attack faster I think it was called weighted? That would be a useful trait to throw on armor pieces no? Call it "lightweight" be able to throw it on armor pieces and allows you to attack faster. Maybe have it increase resources returned on heavy attack too?
Could be interesting considering sets like knight slayer.
Also could help healers with sustaining via heavy attacks
Would be good for my build actually...

Weighted DID NOT increase light or heavy attack speed, it decreased the global cool down between skills by a given percentage. nightblades had haste as well in place of grim focus and its morphs.

@Lexxypwns I wasn't sure, played the game a little when it was released and didn't really get back into the game til about a month before homestead came out.
How come that was scrapped and not improved? Also I forget but what replaced it? Precise?

+1 weighted was part of my build on my stamplar back then.

I dont see invigorating being a useful trait:

Pvp ur still going to want minimum 5 piece impen, and either 2 more pieces of impen or sturdy or well fitted.

Pve ur going to want divines and maybe a piece or two of infused.

Simple math makes invigorating a useless and an extremely subpar trait.

Yeah, I agree @gepe87 it's gotta offer more recovery imo. Not to the point of eclipsing divines with recovery mundus, but make it useable for tanks and other builds that use a good combo of stam/mag.

An In idea I have for it is to make it percent, this way it scales with how much the player has invested in recovery.
(I know everyone has base recovery stats but for simplicity sake...) X% of 0 recovery is 0.

Have to agree, I don't see any point at all to this. The recovery is so trivial that I'd actually rather have a couple extra gold when looting. A full set of this stuff will net you approximately(depending on ability cost, but if you're throwing cheap stuff you don't need more sustain anyway) ability every minute and a half in total resource!

This means that you'll take a DPS loss compared to divines that makes you require 5-10 more attacks to finish the fight to get enough resources to do 2-3 of those attacks. Your net loss compared to divines is approximately a full rotation worth of time, maybe even more.

I was actually annoyed with the trait change. I had built a full set of prosperous for my Thieving runs upgraded to blues for a nice bonus to my gold farming, then after trying it out for its recovery benefits discovered what everyone else did, that the recovery values are essentially garbage while the prosperous actually benefited me. Ah well, adjust and move on :(

well fitted on gloves and belt is quite nice on a tanky char to be fair, allows for more dodge rolls.

Mathematically it's perfectly set to be in line with other traits. It's just that in the current state of the game it's a useless trait. The old prosperous trait was just as useless and was not mathematically inline with the other traits. Intact wearing impen to farm gold made you more money cause it cost less gold to repair the gear.

Prosperous never effected the gold you made while stealing. It only effected gold you obtained from killing something. Also you saved more gold in repair bills if you ran impen over what extra you looted from prosperous.
