Not long ago I had meager 20k or so that I had saved up from selling vendor loots to NPC's. Then one day I read patch notes regarding changes to traits/mundus stone. Since then I began making investments and farmed both, reluctantly but out of necessity, and have made about couple millions of gold in about 1 month time. I hate playing the market because I find it incredibly boring, but I needed the gold to buy certain crafting mats for all of my alts and more importantly bag spaces so that I won't need a crafting bag as badly. I'm sure many here are opportunists looking to make money so I gotta ask. How did you do the past 1 month?

✭✭✭✭✭I returned with 50K, half a year ago, farmed heist for motifs a long time.
Then the anniversary event happened, farmed motifs as mad, ended with 2M, continued to sell of some until Morrowind, another 600K
Khajiit is an fat cat who don't think much about gold anymore.Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.1 -

Yup.. but it's really risky and stressful sometimes with so many changes. Real roller coaster. I still made good money but that's after many mini heart attacks because I went all in, meaning I could have lost most of my money instead of making money.

erliesc✭✭✭Like many players I started with next to nothing and got into farming and eventually guild selling and developed that habit till I got up over 1.5 mil... making all my own armor/weapons. Now out of habit I still farm and make stuff to sell.
Have 1 medium size house...but rarely go there. So have no need for a big house. Just use the various rooms to travel about.
Wanted to get into selling furniture...but that market sort of sucks...people want mats more than finished stuff.
Now putting some gold into top line armor/weapons...bag/bank space....but still no meaningful way to spend my ill-gotten gains.
The life of a rich player is not all it's banged up to be. Would be really interesting if they would come up with something meaningful to spend gold on.....I mean game gold.I know nutting....0 -

Do buy from guild-stores rarely as I don't enjoy this trading-madness (people who already have hundreds of millions of gold are still trying to get more *headshaking*). Have plenty of sets banked on alts (hence they are full) and if I need something I go there and start farming for the item till it dropps and then stop the farm again. Items I already have are vendored as I don't care for gold that much (still some millions in my bank).0

Took me few months and much small money (motifs, recipe, material, misc) to be honest. Its not really a gamble if you know what sets/materials are going to be popular, most important thing is to sell quickly.
Many people overprice their items and they end up not selling them at all, number 1 trading mistake.
