I have actively avoided using Hunding's Rage for a year and a half. Crafted a set last night to replace NMG. At first glance it seems a pretty legit improvement in DPS
And next patch probably Hunding will beat Automaton on all classes since Weapon Critical 1-4p bonuses will be buffed by 55%, but not the weapon damage ones.
688/219.1= 3.14 and 3.14*.55= 1.72. people are getting a huge hard on for 1.72% crit. Come on.

Yeah, 1.72% per bonus, Hunding's Rage + Vicious Serpent have 4 crit bonuses between them, so its more like 6.88% extra crit, which is more than enough to offset the Thief mundus nerf (11% down to 9%)...
Few facts about automaton:
1. Only works on Stamplars and Stamsorcs
2. Only works Sunder and NMG are on the target. In all other cases TFS is BiS.
3. Should always be run on the body, with NMG or VO on weapons (if NMG then youll need Automaton jewelry)
4. 5th bonus IS boosted by weapon damage modifiers, but this will not show in yout UI.
5. Very much worth it if target is pen capped, because psn injection is only around 9% of your dps.
Just a note on the build editor...it only takes your "normal" Weapon and Spell Damage for the Effective Power numbers and does not include damage/skill line specific sets like Automaton. The Effective Power stat is only meant to give you a very general idea on the offensive potential of your build. Since sets like Automaton will depend on which skills you use and how often it makes it impossible to predicate what number to use in the calculation.
You can, however, manually input numbers into the Effective Power formula so see how it changes. Just click the "..." button to the right of the specific stat and modify the Weapon Damage field manually.

Automaton 5 piece affects any ability using Physical damage...doesn't matter if it is a DoT, AoE, ultimate, direct damage...anything that says "Physical Damage". Since Biting Jabs using Physical damage it should be affected by it.
