Crashing to desktop after installing patch 3.1.5

Launcher downloaded and downloaded and applied the patch. Clicked Play. Crash to desktop after black screen but before logo display. Quit Launcher, re-ran it, clicked Play. Entire machine froze. Rebooted, ran Launcher. clicked Play. Game loaded through logos and first art screen, then crashed to desktop. Anyone else? All worked fine before the patch.

    After the 11th launch and crash, suddenly it loaded and I was able to play. Huh.

    Could you please try submitting a support ticket regarding this issue? When sending this ticket in please be sure to attach a copy of your Game Consultant as well to help technical support pinpoint any issue they find.

    Had the same problem with the game crashing before character selection. I tried over ten times to get the game to work with no luck. I was running overclocked CPU (Intel i7 6700K). I reset it to the normal non-overclocked mode, and ESO runs like a champ again.

    However, something changed with the patch, because it used to run fine with my overclocked CPU. Hope this info helps those that can't get into the game.

    Are you getting Fatal Error 11?
