I focus on my own survivability before I focus on my oppponent's.

This is crazy poll. People are barely running with 15k penetration even in PVE and there it matters.

There are 3 groups of people:

People that run just sharpened so ~5k pen
People that run sharpened + some CP so ~7k pen
People that run sharpened + some CP + pen set + kragh so ~13k pen

Add ~4k for every light armor build, but you will rarely see them going for pen set anyway with that, you wont get interesting results when 90% of userbase is in the first category

Not to mention it is literally few hours before everyone's (on PC) penetration values will get hit hard. For most by half. And some will stop using pen completely.

You need to have other stats before stacking penetration. Penetration dont work for example against shield stacker, because the damage against them while have an active shield works allways like with 0 resistances

There are a lot stacker, but there will be less, cause of obliviondamage.
Spelldamage gives better results in total, because this works to every opponent. If you can get penetration, you just should not ignore to have a bit.

Went with this option but it's based on character and what build I'm running at the time. I don't really build for it as breaking shields makes for lost stats and I'd rather have some survival via regen with raw damage usually. When I run my stamblade as a ganker, I do have around 10k when all said and done. Generally because I'll hit when theirs no shield. Then you just have to worry about Miats

I have, just cause sharpened meta is going away doesn't mean people still won't stack penetration with sets like sprig/spinners/nmg/TFS.

~10k pen.

CP, and major fracture are my only means of penetration. Why? Because tanks, and medium armor opponents melt faster than a sorc wearing light armor.
