What is going on

Every damn time I log in, I have to do it 7 or 8 times before I finally stay connected. Every.damn.time. I play swtor, gw2, sw legends and eso on a regular basis and eso is the only one that I have connection issues on. Constant connection issues. Only one game.

Well first what platform and what area. For example I play in NA and use a PC. And have been on several times this weekend with no problem at all. So need to narrow down the possibilities. That's just my opinion.

PC NA. Log in, select character, enter game, time out, get booted to login.
Over, and over, and over, and over, and over.
Eventually it let's me stay in game, or else I get sick of it and log into any of the other games I listed above and play just fine.

I'm sure this has been mentioned before, or you may have already tried them all, but just to cover all the bases...

1 - turn off ALL addons (just in case)
2 - try with each character
3 - try one of the other launchers (like, if you use 32bit, use the 64bit launcher and see if that helps)
4 - try running in admin mode (assuming you don't already)
5 - try shutting off other programs (especially voice-chat and anything else you have that might run concurrently with eso)
6 - update drivers and OS (obvious and probably unnecessary but *sometimes* it works)
7 - try turning off certain devices - macro keyboards, sound cards, audio devices...
8 - repair your game and/or delete and re-install (drastic, would try everything else and probably other possible stuff first)

those would be all the obvious stuff I can think of off my head - troubleshooting pc's can be a pain, but there's USUALLY an answer to be found depending on how much time you're willing to spend on it

I"m having major issues also. I'm crashing every 5 minutes or so. Already tried all of the steps above.

Someone in my guild this morning had to update their drivers. I think it was for their GPU? But anyways, something updated *previously* and added an additional driver for audio, which was conflicting with some other audio driver. I don't know the specifics, but I'm just backing up this idea. +1

EDIT: Friendly tip for OP, try to add something about connection issues in the title of your thread, so that ZOS can recognize the issues faster. The title "What is going on" does not tell us what this thread is about, only that you have a problem. Could you please change the title to be more descriptive, such as, "[Connection Issues PC NA] What is going on?"
