What are your continuity issues?

For example I'm a 9 trait crafter across the board with nearly all motifs. I can dig out and refine raw ore into ingots, hammer those ingots into a magical set it of armor. But even in my own home where I have all the nessicaty crafting stations, I can't hammer out a dent or replace a rivit that I installed in the first place. No, even though I made it from scratch, I have to go to town to pay a guy to fix it.

Because we need gold sinks, is what everyone will say.

But a lot also agree we should be able to repair our armor. And convert it to other styles as well. He'll, even upgrade lower level armor we like to higher level armor and weapons. Would help save the grind for some pieces.

That being said, I want to be able to place our armor and weapons in our home. We can do that with a chair, but not all the other glorious things we can craft. How about it, Devs? Pretty please? :)

I don't dissagree with any of that. But I'm just talking about a pure continuity aspect

Another example is crafting writts. We craft gear to supply the war effort. But now with one tamriel I'm standing next to two yellows and a blue turning these items to the same guy. Why wouldn't I just kill them right then and there and deny the enemy resupply?

When the caravan leaves Craglorn it has to travel through the D.C. Base to get to AD and EP. Why would Daggerfall allow that caravan to go any further?

Technically you can use repair kits, which would in-universe be the equivalent of having the leather patch to sew over that hole, or one of those suction cup things to undo a dent.

You also wouldn't know what alliance people are without them telling you.

Using this map, the caravans can go from Belkarth to DC areas fairly obviously, EP areas through Skyrim, and AD areas by cutting through western Cyrodiil and the Colovian Highlands. Craglorn is neutral politically.

What's in a repair kit that a blacksmithing station doesn't have?

Neutrality means not getting involved. Supplying the enemy is getting involved. Besides. You don't need neutrality if your writts are turned in behind friendly lines. Leaving riften to turn in writts to Craglorn, only to have a caravan come back through the rift is silly.

    What are your continuity issues?

I think they could have handled the Caldwell's Silver and Gold concept a little more creatively without the "nobody will recognize you or make reference to your deeds" thing. But then again, I can't name another game in which you are able to do the same thing.

Since start, I've despised that alliance war only exists in Cyrodiil.

Would have much preferred true world PvP (similar to WoW). So if you go into enemy factions zone, everyone is hostile towards you.

That's me personally...and I'm not against no PvP flags for players that just don't want to be ganked while in a neutral/friendly zone. I've always loved the thrill of exploring in hostile (NPC and player) territory.

After playing mabinogi for 7 years as maxed blacksmith and still unable to repair our own gear but could extend its max durability... i stopped trying to figure out mmo gold sink logic

My crafting issue is more ocd

Why do we need 2 honing 3 dwarven 4 grain but 8 tempering? Should be 5 would help fix the crap economy and make the shift from one gold set to another a lot less painful

I'm bothered by how in the past (during ESO) the ap Dugal family are already established and powerful pirates, but in Oblivion it was only the Pirate King himself who earned his place, his family were poor folk who sold their own son into slavery, according to his diary. It was a neat lil' nod to Oblivion's DLC all the same.
