It wouldn't be hard to write Lilmothiit back in and they'd probably be adorable so I'm all for it.

Reachmen sound interesting. We do encounter them when you're questing in Wrothgar and kill their leader (Ice-something) with help from the Orc king.

Their magic sounds pretty nasty, like growing those hearts that are connected to a tree, and go into a humanoid being.

Reachmen are Bretons, you can already make one. They even have the warpaint for it.

One does not simply write an obscure extinct race back in...

yes more everything, rival games have a lot more options.

"rival games" don't have rich, set, lore that draws people in. "rival games" can change things fundamentally without pissing off half of their players.

If Zeni added a new race, they'd loose more money from people dropping sub then they would make from people actually buying it.

Not really, 10 races is plenty. More char slots, skill lines or may be class will far better to add IMHO. Single player TES games always had just 10 races and I am used to them lore wise. Plus, how the dev handle NPC dialog in the main zones and how the NPC react to the player? That is A LOT of work or re work to add the race into the game the right way.

This. Wyress and necromancer! And a full bar of vamp skills!

Maormer are not native to Tamriel, they come from Pyandonea. So the chances of seeing them added are slim, unless Bethesda does decide to do so.

Except if they add them now it makes sense to make Pyandonea a future expansion for a whole new continent.

As for skills, 1 line for Summoning undead 1 for Black Absorbing magic which heals you each attack. And also have Fear skills. And 1 line for AoE. Like putting a big black hole with bone hands coming through. Passive skills: Increase HP Recovery with staves.

Like a vampire, but it is not. Necromancer class should be some kind of a Undead thing. And for the best experience. Each time you cast a black mage, your character will have a black aura for [x] seconds.

    Necromancer is not a race....

This only leaves the Akaviri races - the Ka'Po'Tun, The Tsaesci, and the Tang Mo. I suspect the Tang Mo would be a cool race to have, the monkey people. But, we would need a whole new chapter involving a reason for them travelling to Tamriel in the mid second Era, then disappearing before Tiber Septim gets the throne in 2E 830.

This is the biggest problem. ESO takes place in the 'past' of the lore, and not the 'present' - so they can't really add anything that isn't seen or at least 'known to not be there' in the other games...

The game has enough human and elf ethnicities... it doesn't need more of either until there is more non-humans. Though all but one of the human ethnicities is just the same people with different accents... so they could get away with an Asiatic inspired human - and it is not hard to say "these people traveled to this side of the planet in past centuries, but don't for a few hundred to thousand years in the future... after all that is exactly the situation of our real world.

Ancient trade and travel routes were disrupted for about a period of 1500 years. They were not global before in the sense they are now - but they did involve some people getting much farther than we used to think they did. And then if you watch those 'mystery conspiracy' shows, they got even further... :)

But that said... I still think the game has too many human and elf options. But the 'ancient trade routes' method could be used for a non-humanlike race from 'far far away' that might then make a return in ES6 or ES7...

@Countcalorie @SilverIce58 You can check out the ESWiki about them here: http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Tsaesci

Apparently, there are only rumours as to what they look like. Some say they're tall human like creatures with beautiful golden like scales. Others say they're vampiric-snake like creatures that feed on people.

The ESWiki has some true information. Emphasis on "some". The UESP is a much better source for your lore needs: http://en.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Tsaesci_(race) (<-the (race) part should be added to the end of the search bar)

Or if not that, then The Imperial Library: https://www.imperial-library.info/search/node/tsaesci type:book which is the most accurate, but not the most organized if you're looking for something really specific (for which you'd use the UESP)

If they have to add a race it might as well be Maomer. Their models are ingame and ready to go.

    Racial passives could be...

9% magicka 3% Extra healing 5% Lightning damage
Increased Destruction Staves xp by 15% and a 10% chance not to consume a potion (But still gain its effect)
    3Kish frost resistance

There should be a new race added not a big lore person ( being as I don't know the lore that well )but something that fits in well and they should have added more classes by now how long has eso been out in all that time 1 added class .. quite lazy imo... new and diff content keeps a mmo fresh so new classes/ races for ppl to explore and enjoy makes for just that !

    What about Atmorans?
"The red pill and its opposite, the blue pill, are a popular cultural meme, a metaphor representing the choice between:

Knowledge, freedom, uncertainty and the brutal truths of reality (red pill)
Security, happiness, beauty, and the blissful ignorance of illusion (blue pill)"

Breton is only half human. Mix between man and mer. It that it really makes much of a difference.

Essentially, I am not aware of another lord friendly race still around that's not an enemy of every playable race. Further, every playable race is essentially home to the zones represented in the game.

I don't think we need any more races. If Zos wanted to make a bunch of money, they should sell you the option to change your racial passives to be for any race you want but not change anything else about your character.

I think we need more classes though. I mean, like five more would be good. Like these:

    Necromancer (undead)
    Martial Artist (hand to hand)
    Daedric Worshiper (uses Daedric Magic)
Illusionist (Skyrim stuff, maybe group invisibility magic)
Moth Priest (whatever the heck it is they do)
