In some games i played there would be a community goal = like kill 1,000,000 thunderbugs and a reward would be given to anybody who contributed.

seedubsrun✭✭✭✭Man I would love this. Some kind of weekly or even daily event that just led to relaxing and playing normal content again would be awesome. I could use a break from DPS testing demands for vet trials and frustratingly bad vet dungeon groups. To look forward to sitting down with a drink and contributing to the success of the whole would reinvigorate my waning interest in this game significantly1 -

LOTRO did this for part of the story line before a big update. It was fun.

1. X number Dolmens over X time.
2. X number of world bosses over x time.
3. Kill X number mobs over X time.
4. Steal x amount of value over X time.
5. Assassinate X number NPCs over X Time.
6. Gather X amount material over X amount of time.
7. Talk to M'aiq the Liar X number off times over X amount of time.
8. Complete X number Delves over X amount of time.
9. Kill X number players over X amount of time.
All sorts of options from all different parts of the game. Could be fun to have events like this.

✭✭✭✭✭I remember doing this before an expansion in ye olde wow. Even low levels could contribute like leather and wood. I think the high levels had to clear areas/bosses.
It would be nice to work toward a goal together.
I can't find it now but I think once I floated out community housing idea. Where say, there was an apartment building/boarding house/giant tree home. in order to upgrade the apartment building the residents had to contribute to the npc caretaker some mats or clearing out local wildlife/threats. When a goal is met, the house gets upgraded. I think that community/village system would be really robust for a guild to build up over time.#FiteForYourRite Bosmer = Stealth

STO does it also every now and then, but now they have also implemented the Endeavour system; challenges for single players that change daily.
