We have had to remove a couple of posts that focused on a real world religious figure. Even if a comment might seem innocuous to you, we state in our community rules that we do not allow references to real world religion. Please stick to the topic of the thread.
Thank you for once again ignoring the issue at hand. This response is definitely not completely useless and we really needed it because we're children and need you to supervise us.

They can. Make Vampirism stage 1 look normal further down line paler the skin looks. Or make it toggle to fix an issue they can't fix aka band-aid fix it. Because right now it is broken for cosmetic side.

ZoS just chooses to ignore things and not respond. They have one of worse community engagements compared to other mmo's. They are just lucky they have Elder scrolls title if not this game would have died out if it was something else.

If someone can explain to me how this is a real world religious figure I'd love to hear about it.

I've heard that many ZOS staff like to play Mag Sorcs and the go to Mag Sorc race is the High Elf... and the High Elves are a Dominion race. I must ask you, @ZOS_MikaS, are you a secret Thalmor agent who's come to silence the voice of Talos in these forums? Because I will not let an Elf tell me who I can and can't worship!

No point in keeping this topic open. It's been three years. They haven't bothered to fix it and continuously ignore the issue when it comes up. They're ridiculously incompetent and I legitimately don't understand how they still have jobs.

I don't know if that is entirely true. It was well more than 2 years before they finally acceded to the request to extend the stage timers. Remember when Stage 1 only lasted half an hour and most vampires were Stage 4 hideous all the time? I do!

Clear back in October of 2014 Paul Sage had this to say to a question I asked during the livestream:

    My question was:
Will you make available the ability to "hide" one's vampirism so that a vampire may look like they did BEFORE becoming vampires either through the use of a potion, an item, or a new skill?

This is at about 1:14:44 of the livestream.

Sage's answer is, "I don't know that we're ever going to offer that except through maybe disguises or costumes. But maybe disguises or costumes are the way to go. Part of the reason that is so people can tell who vampires are on the battlefield and, you know, so the populace can tell who the vampire is. So..." and he trails off and ends there.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gGUOLSng-F8

Of course this was no indication that they EVER plan to accede to this player request and I'm sure we can't hold the current administration to anything Sage ever said. But they've known we wanted this from jump and MAYBE, like with the stage timers, they will FINALLY listen. So I don't give up hope. Ever.

    The one part where he loses me is riiiiight;

"Part of the reason that is so people can tell who vampires are on the battlefield and, you know, so the populace can tell who the vampire is."

    Here.

Evil hunter. Boom, fixed, done. They glow so bright white and blue you can't even see the character for the glare. Even if you don't want to slot that ability or it won't work on your bar...how do you detect vampires wearing polymorph again? Including the draugr poly, on the crown store?

I WOULD like to know if it is even on the table as of now. Perhaps the wonderful @ZOS_GinaBruno and/or @ZOS_JessicaFolsom could forward this to the team responsible for character mesh OR the higher ups, and at least let us know if it is on the radar? Would be much appreciated (and earn cookies!).

Yeah the "people in Cyrodiil need to be able to tell who the vamps are" is well and truly over as an argument now, if it ever held any weight at all since there were always plenty of armor styles that completely concealed a character's appearance. It has ZERO affect on gameplay.
