Would you ever change the race to your main character?

When I do that.. I usually lose the connection with my character. Its not a good idea.

Been there... done that.

I started off in beta and then through early access and my main was one thing. But, as the game devolved and changed, what I had chosen was no longer the best choice so I changed it.

While "theoretically" you can play the way you want, REALISTICALLY, if you aren't churning out certain numbers or lack survivability, you get blacklisted. It sucks, but that's life.

And sure, skill can make up for some short-comings, but the more short-comings you have, the less wiggle room you have and the less you're able to adapt to the inevitable "oh sh*t" moment that inevitably happens from time to time.

I think I've picked the right races for the designated build and role of my characters so I have no reason to, since future racial skill changes are likely to be small, and non-detrimental.
