Unfortunatly, the frost staff passive doesn't work (it would have open the tanking for WW) but I have seen some splash damage when using heavy attacks with a two handed while in WW form. Maybe it is a new hidden passive of the WW or the one from the two handed skill line, I'm not sure

Hmmm a more thorough test would need to be done to see what passives does and does not follow over in that case. I know armor set, armor passives and class passives does but I was as said uncertain on the weapon skill lines.

That would be to an extent. I know some passives work but not things like Catalyst from NB passives. I would test this myself but I'm on console.
